Story
Hello I'm Daphne! I am a 2-year-old Husky mix!  I am a sweet goofy girl with an easy-going temperament. I am a pretty quiet girl and even though I look like a Husky I don't sound like one. I enjoy playing with my dog friends and I love people. I am house trained and know some basic commands. I would love to find my forever home to take me on walks and snuggle with me at night!  If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt.  Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Daphne is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.July 21, 2024, 3:07 pm

Story
Meet Olivia, a delightful 4-year-old female Husky weighing 40lbs. This charming canine is a unique blend of Husky traits with her own special twist. Olivia adores treats and toys, finding endless joy in playtime and snacking. While she's playful and happy like any Husky, Olivia isn't quite as vocal as her counterparts. She may chat a little, but she's not prone to the typical Husky chatter. Despite this, Olivia is friendly and enjoys the company of both people and other dogs. Although Olivia isn't overly affectionate, she's content to hang out with her human companions, receiving a few pets and treats before diving back into her beloved toy collection. With her good-natured demeanor and compatibility with dogs and kids, Olivia is sure to make a wonderful addition to any loving home.

Story
Taryn is a 7-month-old female Husky weighing 40 lbs. She is a happy and friendly pup who gets along well with dogs and older kids. Taryn is a bit jumpy and enjoys playing with her mouth open, so she might not be the best fit for very young children who aren’t used to big puppies. She sits for treats and is highly food motivated. Taryn and her brother Tobie were abandoned by their owner and are now looking for loving new families to call their own.
We'll also keep you updated on Tobie's adoption status with email updates.

Tobie is a 7-month-old male Husky weighing 40 lbs, just like his sister Taryn. He is not as mouthy as Taryn but still loves to run and explore his surroundings. Tobie sits for treats and has a big appetite. He gets along well with dogs and older kids, though he can get a bit jumpy when excited. Tobie and his sister Taryn were abandoned by their owner and need new families who will give them the love and care they deserve.

Story
Meet Bruno, a 2-year-old male Husky mix weighing 50 lbs. Bruno's unique reddish tint in his fur makes him stand out with his distinct coloring. Remarkably quiet for a Husky (yes, a quiet Husky! 😂), he is well-behaved on a leash, fully potty trained, and knows how to sit on command. Bruno loves treats and enjoys being next to you for pets or brushing sessions. While he's a bit startled by loud noises, he handles them calmly without freaking out. Bruno gets along well with dogs and kids but prefers a cat-free home.
