Story
Hi, my name is Enzo! I am 4 years old, and 49lbs. I am expected be around 50-55lbs. I am a neutered male who is microchipped, heartworm tested and fully vaccinated. My adoption fee is $75. You could describe me by a few of these characteristics:Energy level- A quick jog would be fun!Affectionate- I'd rather be by myself. Strangers- With a proper introduction, I can warm up to most people. House Manners- I'm really polite in a house. Kids- I'd do well in a home with teenagers (13+)Dogs- I take a few minutes to warm to a new dog, but then we're besties!Cats- I don't know yet. I've never met a cat but I'm open to it with the proper introduction.Health- I have a clean bill of health!

Story
**THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING! THIS IS NOT AN EPIC DOG. PLEASE CONTACT CAN.ADOPTIONS@YAHOO.COM IF YOU ARE INTERESTED.**   CHLOE'S DNA test came back 64% Husky, 24% Alaskan Malamute, 5% GSD and 4% Samoyed.  She is 45 pounds, and we believe about 4 years old.  She has a TYPICAL Husky personality!  Except for the occasional "zoomies", she is calm and reserved.  She is exceptionally smart, too.  Not sure I've heard of many Huskies wanting to play "fetch", but she LOVES LOVES LOVES the ball!   SOMEONE MUST LOVE HUSKIES AND THEIR PERSONALITY!!  PREVIOUS HUSKY OWNERSHIP REQUIRED.  If you've never had a Husky, you might not understand the complete love some of us have for the breed, even with their sometimes challenging traits..   Chloe's history is very heartbreaking and worse than most.  But like most dogs, her resilience has seen her through.  She has finished her heartworm treatment and will be available to adopt in the next month or so.   To learn more about Chloe and ask about adopting her, please email can.adoptions@yahoo.com.July 18, 2024, 11:15 am

Please read the bio & email the address listed in the bio.   Additionally for CATS you  may email  JShelton@eulesstx.gov and for DOGS, email trinitygapclub@gmail.com           Meet Dash! This young Husky/Shepard dog mix was the victim of divorce and owner surrendered to the Euless shelter. Dash is 15 months old, 47lbs, fully vaccinated, neutered and heartworm negative. He has a lot of energy as you would expect from a young dog of his breed and would make a great running or hiking partner. He enjoys car rides and would be a great sidekick on weekend adventures. Dash needs a little leash training, but learns quickly and is very smart. He’s dog friendly and loves going to doggie daycare. Dash is the kind of dog that easily becomes a member of the family. Due to his energy level and size, home without small children or frail individuals would be best and would benefit from a fenced in yard.If you would like to meet this fabulous dog, please contact jgressett@sbcglobal.net or 214-536-8606July 20, 2024, 9:33 am

Unfortunately, his foster mom lives in an apartment with no backyard. This is not the best place for an energetic husky.  Dakota loves people and is extremely smart.  As with all young huskies, he needs lots of exercise and a yard to run and play in.  He would also be a great running companion or exercise buddy.   Huskies are not bred for Texas heat, so Dakota will need to be adopted as an inside dog.  Outside living conditions only will not be considered.  Dakota is up to date on shots, neutered, kennel and potty trained.  He will need a yard with a six to eight foot wooden fence. If you would like to meet Dakota, please email steffeniegaprescue@gmail.com  July 20, 2024, 9:33 am

Navajo came to the shelter as a stray and was not claimed.  Sadly this is happening a lot this summer.  It is definitely too hot in Texas outside for huskies, so anyone interested must be willing to make him an inside dog during the Texas heat.  If you would like to meet Navajo, please email steffeniegaprescue@gmail.comJuly 20, 2024, 9:33 am

Story
Star is fostered in CA. Star is great with dogs, but having energy can play excitedly and may not be a fit for puppies or elderly dogs. Star is a gorgeous girl with brains and energy to match! She might be blind, but that doesn’t slow her down at all. She navigates just fine and all the important things (food, sniffy walks, petting) don’t require sight. Star also had a couple of seizures, which the vet is calling idiopathic epilepsy since no other cause was found in testing, so she takes Keppra and that has prevented any more episodes. She has already learned a lot of words, including: focus, sit, step, and walking. Given her puppy energy level, she would love to be in a home with another dog her size or bigger and no small children or cats. Star *loves* meeting new people and dogs, exploring her environment, eating, walking, and snoozing in her crate or in the car. She is still learning to be the best dog, but she is a quick study. She needs a family experienced with Huskies or similar breeds who are willing to continue her education. If you are active and ready for an energetic beauty, contact us to learn more about Star! BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
