Story
Say hello to Nova! At just 1½ years old and 26 pounds, this small Siberian Husky girl is a perfect mix of beauty and brains. Her stunning blue eyes will stop you in your tracks—but it’s her loving personality that will truly win you over. She’s incredibly smart and thrives when she has a job to do. With sled dog or agility potential, she’d be an amazing match for someone who loves to bike, run, hike, or camp. She’s happiest when she’s active and part of the adventure! She adores people and is working hard on keeping all four paws on the floor when she says hello (she just gets so excited!). She’s kennel/crate trained and doing great on her potty training as we fine-tune her routine. She’s wonderful with other dogs, cats, and children—and she plays especially cute with her feline friends. While she can be a little timid at times, she blossoms quickly with reassurance and love. She’ll need a home with a fenced yard to safely burn off energy but she is definitely an indoor dog for meals and at night. Bonus: she doesn’t have the typical thick Husky coat, so grooming is a breeze! If you’re looking for an active, affectionate, blue-eyed adventure buddy, she’s your girl. Nova has been spayed, is current on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped and ready for her forever home. If you are interested in adopting Nova, please complete an application on our website (uaaf.org/adopt). For more information, call/text Maryjo at 801-809-0602 or email maryjokorb@gmail.com.

Story
Tonita still has plenty of pep in her step! This spunky girl loves getting outside for little adventures, soaking up the fresh air, and taking in the world at her own pace. Whether it’s a stroll around the neighborhood or relaxing in the sunshine, she’s happiest when she gets to be part of the fun. Tonita has done well meeting other dogs and carries herself with a calm, polite vibe. She’s the kind of gal who doesn’t need to be the center of attention — she just wants to be included. Inside the home, she transforms into a world-class couch potato. Soft beds, cozy blankets, and a comfy spot near her people? That’s her dream life. She’s laid back, easy to be around, and brings a peaceful presence to the home. Tonita is the perfect mix of gentle adventure buddy and snuggle companion. If you’re looking for a sweet, steady best friend to share both the outdoors and the couch, this lovely lady is ready to settle right into your heart and home. *Tonita is temporarily living in a foster home until they find their family. Story
Hi, I'm Doodle, a three-year-old border collie/pit bull mix who's still a bit of a work in progress-in the best, artsy way. I've got lots of energy, a curious nose, and a brain that's always doodling up the next thing to do, so walks can feel more like fast-paced brainstorming sessions. I'm not super into toys, but snacks? Now that really draws my attention and makes training a masterpiece in the making. With an active home that enjoys mental workouts and positive guidance, I'm ready to go from rough sketch to finished work of art, framed right in the center of your life.*Qualifies for Pets for Patriots programPlease email Adoptions@saltlakecounty.gov with questions Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 47 Age: 3yrs 1mths 0wks

Story
Hi there, I'm Koda! I'm a 4-year-old guy with a confident, independent streak-I really do love my people and want to be your friend, but I'm also perfectly happy doing my own thing and enjoying life at my own pace. I'm very smart, know my basic commands, and I listen best when we're working together as true partners. I've got an active, athletic side that's always up for some fun, especially if treats are involved (those are definitely my love language). I'm affectionate when the moment's right, great with other dogs, and ready to be your loyal companion who walks beside you!*Qualifies for Pets for Patriots program"Please email Adoptions@saltlakecounty.gov with questions Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 57.3125 Age: 4yrs 11mths 2wks

Story
Hi, I'm Onyx! I'm a sweet, fun-loving girl with a big personality and all the classic husky flair-tons of energy, a love for toys, and a heart that's always ready for the next adventure. I adore going places, exploring new sights, and keeping life exciting, especially when kids are around to share the fun. Treats are one of my favorite things (okay... one of my many favorites), and I definitely come with a little sass to keep things interesting. I'm vocal and proud of it, so I'll always let you know exactly how I'm feeling-whether it's time to play, time to go, or time for snacks!*Qualifies for Pets for Patriots programPlease email Adoptions@saltlakecounty.gov with questions Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Black Weight: 61 Age: 4yrs 5mths 3wks
