Meet Skyler (aka “Sky”) 1.5 years old | 13.6 lbs | Spayed | Jack Russell Terrier mix Sky is a bright, athletic, affectionate little terrier who is ready to take on the world — she just needs someone to show her how. She is adventurous, confident, clever, playful, food-motivated, and full of joyful young dog energy. Sky is the kind of dog who wants to do things — run, learn, play, train, explore — and then crash for a well-earned nap. Personality & Energy Sky is high energy in the best way: Loves fetch, squeaky toys, bully sticks, and training games Enjoys food puzzles and Kongs Can go for walks, play, and train for long stretches Her favorite thing is when you sit on the floor and play with her She’s also very sweet and affectionate — and when you rub her face and ears, her foster says her eyes just melt. Daily Life & Training Sleeps in a crate in the living room at night Crate trained for about 4 hours at a time Potty training is in progress and coming along well — she has an excellent foster helping her learn good habits as they both mesh their schedules together. During the day: play, naps, chew time, training, repeat When left alone, she should be crated for safety and good habits Sky is currently working on: Basic commands: sit, stay, come, wait, drop it, go potty, and ok (release word) Learning how to settle and regulate her excitement Walks & Outside Walks using a martingale + harness for security and leash manners training A CBD treat before walks has really helped her relax and enjoy the walk itself She loves to sniff and explore Still learning leash manners and calm greetings She doesn’t bark on walks and is generally more excited than worried about the world. Social Life Likes women more at first, but warms up to men with treats and a little patience With dogs: wants to play and engage, but is still learning calm, polite social skills Would do best with a submissive or easygoing dog or as an only dog with lots of activities to expend her energy Not a good match for cats (This is assumed as her energy is a lot) Best with teens or older kids — she can be mouthy and bouncy when excited Sensitivities & Quirks Loud noises (like fireworks) are scary — she hides and seeks comfort When stressed, she likes face pets and ear massages She will try to squeeze under fences if the opportunity presents and chases squirrels and flying bugs, a secure yard is a must Grooming, Food, & Car Rides well crated in the car (have not had her out of crate in car) Tolerates baths but isn’t a fan yet; doesn’t like the dryer (let’s be honest what dog does) Eats from activity bowls/mats, 3 meals a day (N&D Lamb Pumpkin) Health No medical issues Her Ideal Home Sky will thrive in: An active home With a secure, well-fenced yard No small kids Someone who enjoys training, walks, and play and has the time for these things A home that understands young, smart, energetic terriers The Right Match Sky is smart and athletic and will be amazing for someone who wants to train, engage, and build a real partnership. Ellie came to us she’s a year and three months and she weighs 27 pounds. She’s a Rottweiler ,Jack Russell ,French bulldog ,lab pug.to as my other dogs pets sister. The two struggle with littler mate syndrome and we need to separate them permanently. My other dog is the main issue I’ve already tried to trainer. I’ve tried separation. I’ve tried everything imaginable. It’s heartbreaking. It has to be this way. She deserves a home where she’s the only dog..she’s extremely loving , Smart she’s extremely loyal. Probably best in a single couple or single person house to set her up for success. She’s a puppy so know that but doesn’t bark usually and she loves people. She’s a social butterfly and she’s actually dog park friendly.

While available for adoption we are looing for a forever guardian. Please contact us for details about what this status entails. Toto has not had an easy life. He was rescued from a neglectful situation and has endured more hardships that any pet should. It has left Toto scared both physically and emotionally. Currently in foster care, he is receiving training and has been rebuilding trust in humans, restoring his confidence, and learning that the world can in fact be a loving place. He will take about 2-3 days to gain the trust of a new foster, but once he has done that, you will find that Toto is playful, smart, sweet, and affectionate. He is best in a home with no children or other pets.

Grady’s Adoption Bio • Possible Breed: Jagged Terrier (possible mix) • Age: 2 years old • Weight: About 16 pounds (he’s a little heavy for his age) • Vaccinations: Up-to-date as of 7/8/24 • Neutering: neutered • Currently with: Girls of Dog Rescue since 7/8/24 Personality & Behavior: • Dog-friendly: Yes, gets along well with other dogs • Cat-friendly: Yes, he loves playing with cats and kittens • Kid-friendly: Yes, he is good with kids • Potty training: Still in progress, but making good strides • Bite history: Does not bite, very gentle • Anxiety: Grady does experience some anxiety, likely due to all the changes and adjustments in his life History & Background: • Grady has been bounced around quite a bit, unfortunately. Originally, he was with an older lady who could no longer care for him. Then, he was passed to a younger lady, but due to her work schedule, she couldn’t keep him either. He’s now in the care of Girls of Dog Rescue, starting 7/8/24. • Personality: Despite the challenges he’s faced, Grady is still a sweet, playful pup. Hello! We got our doggo because our girl dog had babies. We have been looking for a home for him and his brother for a while now and we have had so many close adoptions but they always get cold feet. We hope to find a home for these two sweet boys. They are very playful, sweet, and vocal. Frankie is coming up on 1 year so he is just a small little baby. He is shy with new people but once he gets to know you he is very very sweet! We also didn’t put an adoption fee because we believe that adopting a dog shouldn’t have to cost anything.
