Story
4 yr old, 12 lb JRT Mix NEUTERED MALE for ADOPTION Meet Roger Rabbit! Roger is an exceptionally handsome 4-year-old 12 lb Jack Russel Terrier Mix that came to us from Penninsula Humane Society. This fun-loving boy is looking for an adult only home who will make him …work work work work work… for things like couch time and treats! Work might sound like a bad word to us humans, but it is very helpful for dogs that need a little help feeling comfortable. This is what his foster family says about him- Roger is an affectionate, high energy dog. He loves to give hugs and cuddles, and likes to follow around. He’s potty trained and crate trained but keeping a consistent schedule for him is very helpful because he picks up on things rather quickly. Although he’s very sweet he’s still cautious and a bit guarded with things like food, bed and couch so giving him treats and belly rubs to make him feel comfortable is highly recommended as well as continuing crating so he understands boundaries and recognizes the crate as a safe space not punishment. good with other dogs as long as they don’t get too aggressive, a little shy with bigger dogs but he absolutely loves to play. Patience and attentiveness is very much needed with Roger because of the guarding but he’s the most loving fun dog you’ll ever be around.” with a little elbow grease this dog will be the perfect companion for someone who loves to do active things. All animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, treated for parasites and given any additional treatments (dental work, bloodwork etc) as recommended by our vet.
