Story
APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. The 4 ‘M’ Puppies came to us from a neighbor down the street. An elderly man had these 4 pups dropped on his property and he didn’t know what to do with them. He approached a neighbor that he knew to do rescue but she, too, was having her own problems with too many dogs and she approached me. They were already 3 ½ mos old. (We gave them a DOB of 2/15/26.) We took them in and started shots, neutering and TLC. I see 2 puppies with one father and 2 puppies with another father. I did a phone scan for breed-types and came out with varying suggestions so as we list each one, I will list the differences. MAJOR-Possibly a mixture of Jack Russell, Rat Terrier, and Beagle. He is currently 6 mos old and weighs 12#. I expect him to be 22# when grown. He is a delightful short-legged little dog. The Beagle really shows up in him. Even with those short legs, he sure can run and keep up with the rest. He’s the one that is our comedy act with his brothers and sister. He loves to play with all the toys and loves the water tub. It is quite hot right now in Texas…so they all love the water. This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You will receive the dog's folder with all the printouts proving the medical treatments received. You can ask us about how pre-adoption works and our "trial period." Adoption Fee: Includes all of the vetting and transportation. If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. Story
Hello! My name is Mongdol, and I'm an 8kg, 7-month-old little boy looking for my forever family. Not too long ago, my brother and I were found wandering alone on a quiet country road. We were rescued together, and my brother has already found his forever home. Now it's my turn to find a family who will love me for the rest of my life. Since I'm still just a puppy, I absolutely love people and other dogs! I get excited to meet new friends and enjoy playing with canine buddies. I also love going for walks and exploring the world around me. Every day is a new adventure, and I can't wait to discover it with my future family. Because I'm only seven months old, I have lots of puppy energy! I love to play, and like any growing puppy, I'm in the stage where I explore the world by chewing and investigating everything around me. I'll need plenty of fun toys, exercise, and patient guidance to help me grow into a well-mannered adult dog. I'm eager to learn—I just need someone willing to teach me with kindness and consistency. Since I'm still young, I may develop separation anxiety if I'm left alone for long periods without preparation. If my new family helps me gradually learn that alone time is safe, I'll become much more confident and independent. I'm doing very well with my potty training! Of course, moving to a brand-new home can be a little overwhelming, so I might have an occasional accident while I'm adjusting. Once I settle into my new routine, I learn quickly and do my best. One little thing about me—I drink a bit more water than most dogs, so I need to go outside to potty more often. Right now, I'm healthy and doing great! I currently eat an insect-protein diet, and I'm not picky at all when it comes to treats. If you have snacks, I promise I'll be your biggest fan! I'm still learning about this big world, so I don't need a family expecting perfection. What I really need is a family that will grow with me, celebrate my progress, and love me through every stage of my life. The cute little puppy you see today will grow into a wonderful lifelong companion, and I'd love for you to be part of that journey. My brother already found his happily ever after, and now I'm patiently waiting for mine. I dream of a home where we can go on adventures together, play with my favorite toys, cuddle after a fun day, and make wonderful memories for years to come. I may be a playful little rascal now, but with love, patience, and guidance, I'll grow into the loyal best friend you've always dreamed of.

Story
Hi, I'm Vanilla! 🐶✨ A little lovebug with a big heart, ready to start a brand new chapter — maybe with you? I'm a 2-year-old girl, full of energy, love, and second chances. I didn’t always have it easy — I was left behind at an oyster factory in Tongyeong, forgotten and alone. Even after having four puppies, no one looked out for me… but that’s all in the past now. I was rescued, and ever since, I've been learning how beautiful life can be when you’re loved. Now I know how to trust, how to play, and most of all — how to love back. I’ve even picked up some smart tricks like “sit,” “paw,” and “go to your house!” Not bad, right? I’m super friendly and absolutely adore people — men and women alike. I haven’t met many young children yet, and since I’m pretty bouncy and energetic, I might do best with older kids who can match my vibe. Other dogs? LOVE them. I get excited to meet new furry friends and will happily introduce myself first! I haven’t met any cats yet, so I can’t say how we’d get along, but I don’t have any aggression or prey drive — I’m more about snuggles and zoomies than anything else. I’m still working on leash training, and I’m not totally used to living indoors yet, but I’m a quick learner. If you show me the way, I’ll follow. I’m a good girl with my barking, too — I might bark when someone new comes in or if I’m really excited, but if you say “no,” I usually settle down quickly. I love being touched, hugged, and cuddled, especially by women. I’ll even give you gentle hugs to show you how much I care. With male guardians, I’m respectful — if you’re not in the mood for snuggles, I’ll understand and give you space. I enjoy toys but I don’t destroy things in the house, and I’m not possessive over food or toys either. Sharing is caring, right? Health-wise, I’m in great shape — no major illnesses in my past, just a whole lot of resilience and a heart full of love. Now all that’s missing is a forever family. A warm home. A couch to cuddle on. A person — or people — who will never leave me behind again. Could that be you? I’m ready to be your joy, your companion, and your sunshine. Let’s write our story together. 💛 With love, Vanilla
