You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Friendly, Affectionate, Loyal, Gentle, Playful, SmartTaco is a small/medium terrier mix, about 2 years old, 30-35 lbs, sterilized, vaccinated and healthy, who was rescued from the street. He's a very sweet, happy and friendly boy with people he knows, and he has the best smile! He loves going on walks, runs to the door and sits to get his harness on, and completely ignores distractions like other barky dogs, cars, etc., on his walks. Taco is very outgoing, friendly and cuddly with people he knows, he loves butt scratches and snuggling on the couch to watch TV. He can be a little skittish and shy with people he doesn't know, and can get easily spooked, since he spent a lot of time running from trouble on the street. Once he knows it's safe, he is a very playful boy who loves to play and get attention. Taco needs a home with someone who can help calmly build his confidence and with a secure yard, as he is used to being on his own and will try to go on a walkabout if he finds his way out. He would do best in a home where he is either an only dog or with another female dog buddy, as he does not always get along with other male dogs, but he plays enthusiastically and is great with female dogs. His best friend is Luna, a young female black lab mix (also available for adoption). He has also been fostered with cats with no issues. This sweet boy needs a calm, loving human who has the patience and time to bring him out of his shell and give him the safe environment he deserves. He's the kind of dog that will bond with his humans and give back 100% all the love you have to give him.
