Story
Dog Name: Brady Age: 8 years Gender: Male Weight: 5.5 kgs / 11 lbs Breed: Wire Fox Terrier Mix   Spayed/Neutered? Yes Vaccinated? Yes  HeartWorm Negative? Yes Good with dogs? Yes Good with kids? Unknown Good with cats? Unknown Has experience on a leash? Yes, Brady walks well on a leash and enjoys his outdoor adventures. Potty trained? Yes. Crate trained? Not yet, but he is adaptable and can learn with the right guidance. He currently lives with other foster dogs and shares the space comfortably. Brady sleeps in a cozy dog bed alongside his foster siblings in a designated area. Brady – A Gentle Soul Who Just Wants to Be Close to You Brady is the kind of dog who doesn’t ask for much… just a quiet place, a warm spot in the sun, and most of all, someone to love. At 8 years old, this sweet senior boy has a calm and tender spirit. He finds happiness in the simplest moments resting peacefully, taking slow walks, and following his person from room to room just to be near. More than anything, Brady wants to feel safe, connected, and part of someone’s life. He gets along well with other dogs, but his heart truly belongs to his human. Brady is the kind of companion who will gently lean into you, sit close, and remind you every day what unconditional love feels like. And if you go for a car ride, don’t be surprised if he insists on sitting right on your lap he just wants to be as close as possible. Despite everything he’s been through, Brady remains loving, trusting, and full of quiet affection. For his age, he is in great condition and only needs a simple daily joint supplement (Flexadin Advanced) to stay comfortable and keep enjoying life. As a senior, he moves at a gentle, slower pace, and you may notice a slight curve in his back; these are simply natural, age-related changes, and with his supplement, he remains comfortable and happy. Senior dogs like Brady have a special kind of love deeper, calmer, and incredibly grateful. He’s not looking for adventure… he’s looking for you. If you open your heart to Brady, he will give you a love that is pure, loyal, and truly unforgettable.  Brady’s Ideal Home Brady would thrive in a calm, quiet home where he can enjoy the simple, peaceful life he loves so much. He is perfect for someone looking for a low-energy, deeply affectionate companion who will happily stay close by their side. His ideal home would be with a person or family who spends a lot of time at home or can include him in their daily routine, since Brady’s favorite place is right next to his human. Whether it’s relaxing on the couch, enjoying the sunshine, or going for gentle walks, he just wants to share those moments with you. He gets along well with other dogs, so he could live with a calm canine companion, but he would also be perfectly happy as your one and only, soaking up all your love and attention. Brady would do best in a home that offers stability, patience, and lots of affection, understanding the beauty of a senior dog. His only special care is a daily joint supplement to keep him comfortable. In return, Brady will give you quiet loyalty, unconditional love, and the kind of companionship that makes a house truly feel like home.    Brady’s Rescue Story Brady and his lifelong companion, Chelsey, lost everything when their beloved owner passed away. Suddenly, the only home they had ever known was gone. Their owner’s husband tried to care for them, but he was overwhelmed and unable to meet their needs. By the time he reached out for help, both Brady and Chelsey were in very poor condition, needing care, stability, and a second chance. Despite the uncertainty and changes, Brady’s gentle and loving nature never faded. Even during those difficult moments, he remained calm, loyal, and deeply connected to people, holding onto the quiet hope of being loved again. Once rescued, Brady finally received the care and attention he needed. With time, love, and a safe environment, he began to relax and show his true self—a sweet, peaceful soul who simply wants to be close to his human. Today, Brady is in good condition, and his only ongoing care is a simple daily joint supplement (Flexadin Advanced) to keep him comfortable and enjoying life. Brady’s story is one of love, loss, and resilience. Now, he is ready for a new beginning—a forever home where he can feel safe, cherished, and never alone again. Brady is waiting in Mexico until a family is committed to taking him on a 10-day trial. If you are interested, apply at www.northwestwagrescue.org his adoption fee is $600 ##2701722##

Story
Hi, I'm Vanilla! 🐶✨ A little lovebug with a big heart, ready to start a brand new chapter — maybe with you? I'm a 2-year-old girl, full of energy, love, and second chances. I didn’t always have it easy — I was left behind at an oyster factory in Tongyeong, forgotten and alone. Even after having four puppies, no one looked out for me… but that’s all in the past now. I was rescued, and ever since, I've been learning how beautiful life can be when you’re loved. Now I know how to trust, how to play, and most of all — how to love back. I’ve even picked up some smart tricks like “sit,” “paw,” and “go to your house!” Not bad, right? I’m super friendly and absolutely adore people — men and women alike. I haven’t met many young children yet, and since I’m pretty bouncy and energetic, I might do best with older kids who can match my vibe. Other dogs? LOVE them. I get excited to meet new furry friends and will happily introduce myself first! I haven’t met any cats yet, so I can’t say how we’d get along, but I don’t have any aggression or prey drive — I’m more about snuggles and zoomies than anything else. I’m still working on leash training, and I’m not totally used to living indoors yet, but I’m a quick learner. If you show me the way, I’ll follow. I’m a good girl with my barking, too — I might bark when someone new comes in or if I’m really excited, but if you say “no,” I usually settle down quickly. I love being touched, hugged, and cuddled, especially by women. I’ll even give you gentle hugs to show you how much I care. With male guardians, I’m respectful — if you’re not in the mood for snuggles, I’ll understand and give you space. I enjoy toys but I don’t destroy things in the house, and I’m not possessive over food or toys either. Sharing is caring, right? Health-wise, I’m in great shape — no major illnesses in my past, just a whole lot of resilience and a heart full of love. Now all that’s missing is a forever family. A warm home. A couch to cuddle on. A person — or people — who will never leave me behind again. Could that be you? I’m ready to be your joy, your companion, and your sunshine. Let’s write our story together. 💛 With love, Vanilla

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️💟Available to fly to SEA💟The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate.Meet Kangmin❤️1️⃣ Health Condition Neutered. Microchipped. * Was diagnosed with a rare heart condition where there is a membrane in the blood vessel leading from the right atrium to the lungs. Is currently being monitored regularly and treatment may be necessary if symptoms appear later. Has a rare heart condition now, so we're keeping walks to a minimum. It's important to keep him calm because getting too excited can put a strain on his heart.2️⃣ Rescue Story Kangmin was found abandoned and was rescued by the fire department following a report. Before being moved to a shelter, he was temporarily cared for at the fire station. After hearing his story, Adogs decided to rescue him to provide more stable care and protection.3️⃣ Basic Information With People: Barks at strangers and can appear intimidated or cautious. Once he gets used to you, he approaches first and allows touching! Is a bit flinch at first, but he actually loves being petted once he warms up. His reaction to children is unknown as he hasn't met any yet. With Dogs: Tends to be mostly indifferent to other dogs. Prefers being alone to getting together with them. With Cats: Didn't really show much interest when he ran into a cat in the kennel. Separation Anxiety: Stays calm and shows no signs of anxiety when left alone. Potty Training: Mostly does outdoor potty. Occasionally urinates in his kennel. Hygiene: Due to his cautious nature, he may show mild defensive nipping or yelp when being handled for hygiene. However, he tolerates brushing well. Walks: Overexcitement can be hard on his heart, so we're keeping walks to a minimum. Car Sickness: Does not show symptoms of motion sickness during car rides. No aggressive biting. However, he may nip defensively/weakly when getting shots at the vet, having his nails trimmed, or trying to wipe away his tear stains. Barks defensively only when strangers enter his territory or when he hears external noises. Loves treats. Feels uncomfortable when hands approach his face or when someone tries to pick him up. Is afraid of sudden touches. Was scared of vet visits at first, but he’s getting a little better now. * Doesn’t have a high energy level. Rather than hanging out with other dogs, he feels more comfortable being on his own, but he's not just shy. Is such a brave boy, slowly opening up to the world at his own pace.

Story
Meet Hiro   Name: Hiro Age: 5 years Sex: Neutered Male Breed: Jack Russell Mix Color: Brown Weight: 12.5 kg Height: 41 cm   Rescue Story   Hiro was rescued from a municipal shelter at the end of 2023.   When Hiro first arrived at the private shelter, he would occasionally grab onto clothing when he became overly excited or happy. It was determined to be playful behavior rather than aggression, and after over a year of consistent training, this behavior is now very rare.   Because of this, Hiro has spent over a year in professional training focused on impulse control, obedience, and handling skills He has made tremendous progress and now only shows this behavior very rarely (about once every few months). These days, he is much more likely to express affection through cuddling and leaning into people instead   He has also earned a Dog Fitness Level 3 certification with his trainer   ‍‍‍ Socialization with People   Hiro absolutely loves people He is affectionate with strangers, men, children, and familiar people alike. He loves cuddling, climbing into laps, showing his belly, and being close to his humans   He can be picked up comfortably and enjoys physical affection. While he is very sweet-natured, he is also energetic, playful, strong, and intelligent — very typical of a Jack Russell mix   Because of his playful intensity and energy level, Hiro would do best with an adopter who understands active working-type breeds and can continue providing structure, boundaries, and mental stimulation   Socialization with Other Dogs   Hiro is social and friendly with other dogs and enjoys greeting and playing with unfamiliar dogs However, people are always his priority.   He especially enjoys playing with dogs similar to or larger than his size. Smaller dogs do not interest him much. If another dog behaves rudely, Hiro may give an appropriate warning, but he has never fought with another dog.   He enjoys social time but is also perfectly happy relaxing alone in the sun after playtime   Cats   Cat testing has not yet been done, but can be arranged if needed.   Energy Level   Hiro has bursts of high energy and loves active play, but after about 30 minutes of exercise he usually settles nicely and relaxes.   He especially enjoys training and learning new things, so mental enrichment and structured activities are very important for him   Walks   Hiro is very experienced on walks and generally walks well. However, he is smart and tends to test handlers at first. If boundaries are unclear, he may pull or try to make his own decisions.   With calm but firm leadership and structure before walks, he listens very well and becomes an excellent walking companion   Other Behaviors   Hiro does not guard food or toys from people or other dogs He has no separation anxiety and is calm in a kennel.   He may bark excitedly when greeting people he loves, especially when his owner returns home   He rides very well in the car, can jump in and out on his own, and is currently outdoor potty trained   Hiro is an affectionate, intelligent, funny, and active dog who forms strong bonds with people He would thrive in a home that appreciates the lively personality and clever mind of a Jack Russell mix while continuing to provide structure, exercise, and love.
