Beto's journey is a tale of courage, second chances, and unwavering determination. This brave soul was initially rescued from Mexico and found his way to Washington, only to face the challenge of being returned due to no fault of his own. Despite the setbacks, Beto's spirit remains unbroken, and he's now on the lookout for a loving family that will give him the stability and warmth he truly deserves. Beto is a true gem for apartment living. His perfect size and potty-trained nature make him an ideal companion for a cozy home. He's ready to fill your living space with love, loyalty, and joy, turning your apartment into a haven of companionship and happiness. Beto's timid nature is a testament to his depth of character, and with patience and understanding, he'll flourish into a loving and loyal member of your family. Beto's interactions with other dogs reveal his friendly and social side. He's a canine team player, thriving in the company of his furry friends. Whether it's a playful romp at the dog park or a relaxing walk with a canine buddy, Beto's companionship extends to both humans and dogs alike. Beto's journey from Mexico to Washington showcases his resilience and adaptability. His courage in the face of change is a testament to his character, and he's ready to channel that strength into forming a deep bond with his new family. Beto's perfect forever home is one that understands the value of patience and compassion. If you're willing to give Beto the time he needs to blossom and create a sense of belonging, you'll be rewarded with a loyal and loving friend who will fill your life with endless joy. Are you ready to offer Beto the stability and love he's been longing for? By adopting Beto, you're not only giving him a second chance but also opening your heart to a world of unbreakable companionship and happiness.

Story
Winnie was taken for a week of boarding and was never picked-up. Several attempts were made to contact her owners to no avail. However, the people that initially boarded her and have been taking care of her are moving and decided to surrender Winnie to our rescue group. She will need training and more socializing, but is overall a good dog who has spent too long by herself with little inattention.

Story
Zuri was rescued as a stray by our sister rescue in Guadalajara, Mexico. She was strongly anemic and we think she may have been abandoned. She recovered very well at the vet and she is being fostered in Guadalajara while we find her a home in WA. She is a loyal, happy and playful pup. She would do best with an active family that can take her places and exercise her regularly. Ideally, a home with someone who is around often and can provide a secure fenced area would be the best fit. She does fairly well on leash and in a crate, gets along well with other dogs. She is not housebroken.

She has the prettiest face, spotted ears with a patch on one eye that makes her look more rascally than she really is! Fergie was found with her 4 litter mates abandoned on a beach in La Paz, Baja California Sur at just 4 weeks old. A whole community of neighbors pitched in to care for the litter, socializing them and making sure they were fed, vaccinated and healthy. Since then, she has thrived in her foster home with her litter mates, and spends her days playing in her puppy pool, napping and playing keep away with her siblings. She is a lovable little girl who is now fully vaccinated, sterilized and ready to be someone's forever pup!Fergie will be at the adoption event at the PetSmart in Lacey, Washington, on September 23-24th, come and meet her there!
