Story
Hi, my name is Haengbok 🐾 It means “happiness” in Korean — and while I may not feel fully happy just yet, I know my forever family will help me get there. I’m a 3-year-old Jindo girl with a gentle soul and a loving heart. I can be a little shy when we first meet, but if you show me patience and kindness, I’ll trust you quickly — sometimes in just a few hours. Once I do, I absolutely love cuddles, pets, and being close to my people. I was rescued by the director of Dream Tails when I was just a young pup. Back then, I wasn’t ready to find my forever home — I needed time to grow, learn, and feel safe. With the help of my trainers, I’ve opened my heart and shown everyone what a truly affectionate and loyal dog I am. I’m just waiting for someone who will understand me and love me for who I am. I get along very well with other dogs, but mealtime can make me a bit sensitive. With continued training, consistency, and reassurance, I’ll learn that everything is okay and that I don’t have to worry anymore. I do have some fears, and I might get startled by unexpected things on walks. I can walk on a leash, and with the support of a calm, loving human by my side, I know I can overcome these worries. All I need is someone willing to walk this journey with me. I’m a sweet, gentle, almost-fully-happy girl — waiting for my forever parents to help me complete my story. Will you be the one to make my name come true?

Story
🏠Currently in a Toronto foster homeHi, my name is Soonsu! 🐾 I'm a 1-year-9-month-old male Jindo, around 20kg (about 44 lbs), and I’m so excited to finally introduce myself to you! I’ve had a bit of a rough start in life. I was rescued just in time before facing a very sad fate, and since then, I’ve been working really hard to become the best boy I can be. I grew up in a shelter with my puppy friends, and now I’m in training school where I’ve been learning all about how to connect with people and live happily in a home. And let me tell you—I absolutely love people! I mean it. I prefer spending time with humans way more than with other dogs. Sometimes, I might gently jump up to get your attention—it’s just my way of saying, “Please love me!” If you pet me or give me a hug, I’ll be the happiest pup in the world. I crave affection and love being your shadow. I’m also super smart and super food-motivated, so treats are a great way to help me learn. Training? Bring it on! I focus really well when snacks are involved and I'm always eager to please. Now, I’ve never lived in a home before, so house life might be a little confusing for me at first. I might have some accidents in the beginning, but I promise I’ll try my best to learn quickly—especially if you’re patient and kind with me. I don’t get shy around new people at all. Whether we’ve just met or we’ve known each other forever, I open my heart easily. I’m just a big lovebug who wants to be part of a family where I can finally feel safe, loved, and at home. So, if you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and happy pup who will love you with his whole heart—I’m your Soonsu. 🧡 I’m ready for a fresh start and a forever family. Could that be you? With love, Soonsu

Story
Hi… my name is Raon. I’m a 5-year-old Jindo mix boy, about 15kg. I have short legs, a chubby body, and a funny little waddle when I walk. People often smile just watching me move. But before you met me here, I spent a very, very long time alone. I lived in a shelter for years. So long that I almost didn’t make it out. I was rescued just before euthanasia. For all that time, nobody chose me. But somehow… I never stopped loving people. When I meet someone for the first time, I don’t hesitate. I walk right up, wagging my tail, asking for pets like I’ve known you forever. As if I’m saying, “I’m here.” “I can be loved too.” Because I stayed in the shelter for so long, I never really learned how to be around other dogs. I don’t like sharing attention, and maybe… it’s because I’ve waited my whole life for love that was never just mine. That’s why I hope to be the only dog in your home. Just once in my life, I want to know what it feels like to have love all to myself. With people, I am incredibly gentle, affectionate, and soft-hearted. Honestly, living in a real home might be something completely new for me. I may be five years old, but in my heart, I’m still a little puppy. Everything in the world feels new and exciting. If I come home with you, I will need to learn many things from the beginning — house manners, potty training, how to live inside a home. So I’m looking for someone patient. Someone who will go slowly with me. Someone who will say, “It’s okay,” and stay by my side while I learn. Please, just take one look at me. If I find my family, I promise I will return the love I never received — many times over. I truly believe I can be the most loyal, loving companion for the rest of my life. I’ve been waiting for you for a very long time.

Story
Hi… I’m Mani 🤍 I’m a one-year-old male Jindo mix, about 16kg, and I’ve been waiting to meet you—my forever family. My life kind of paused when I was just three months old. That’s when I ended up in a shelter. Cold metal bars, unfamiliar sounds… for a long time, that was my whole world. I lost my mom when I was very young. I don’t even know how I got there. All I know is that, with my small body, I was placed on the euthanasia list— before I ever got to know what a home, a family, or love really felt like. But here’s the surprising part. When I was finally rescued and stepped outside that place, I didn’t hold onto the fear. Instead, I discovered people. And I loved them. I wag my tail when I see you. I know how to ask for affection. I’m gentle with other dogs, taking my time, learning how to play— because honestly, I’m still figuring out how the world works. There’s a lot I don’t know yet. Living in a home. Having a family of my own. House training, walking on a leash, learning how to live together. Everything will be new for me. That’s why I’m looking for a family who will teach me, who won’t rush me, who will guide me with patience and love. If you become my very first family, I promise you this— with the deep loyalty Jindos are known for, I will stand by your side for the rest of my life and love you with my whole heart. I’m still just one year old. I still have a chance. Instead of remembering my painful past, I hope we can build a warm future—together. I’m Mani. And I’m waiting for you. 🐾

Story
Hi… my name is Koon 🐾 I’m a 1 year and 6 month old Jindo mix boy, about 15kg, with a strong body and an even bigger heart. People say I’m still at that age where I just want to run, play, and learn everything about the world—and they’re right. But my world started a little differently. I came to a shelter when I was just a tiny puppy, and for over a year, my days were spent in a small space. I didn’t get to explore much back then… but somehow, I never stopped believing that people are kind and the world is exciting. When I see humans, my tail starts wagging before I even realize it. I walk right up to say hello—I just can’t help myself. I love other dogs too, and I make friends easily. Being around others makes me feel happy and safe. About six months ago, something new began for me. I moved to a training center, where I started learning what “life” can be like. I’ve met lots of different people, learned rules, and practiced basic training. The trainers say I’m smart (I think so too 😉), and they always smile when I show them my cute side—which I have a lot of. But there’s one thing I’ve never had before… a real home. I don’t yet know what it’s like to rest in a cozy house, to have my own spot, to follow a daily routine with my family, or even to fully understand where to go potty. Everything about living in a home will be new to me. So if you’re thinking about becoming my family, I might need a little patience at first. I might be unsure, or make mistakes while I learn. But I promise—I love people, I love learning, and I really want to do well. If you guide me with kindness and consistency, I’ll try my very best to grow into the dog you can be proud of. If you take the time to show me the world from your side, I’ll give you something back that’s even bigger—my trust, my love, and my whole heart. For me, simple things like walking together, resting side by side, and sharing everyday moments… those are dreams I’ve been waiting for. Maybe… you’re the family I’ve been waiting for? It might be a little awkward at first, but over time, I’ll become your most loyal companion—the one who loves you more sincerely than anyone else. Will you be my first real family? 🐶💛

Story
Meet Odong-i 🐾 A beautiful 2-year-old Jindo mix girl, weighing about 10kilos, with a heart that has grown stronger every single day. Odong-i was transferred to Dream Tails after facing euthanasia at a city shelter. When she first arrived, she was very underweight and had clearly known hunger. She would eat quickly and protect her food, afraid it might disappear. But with time, consistent care, and full meals every day, Odong-i began to relax. She gained healthy weight and learned that food would always be there. Today, she can eat comfortably, even around other dogs. Beyond her resilience, Odong-i is a truly affectionate and joyful girl. She loves being brushed and petted, soaking up every bit of attention. She plays beautifully with other dogs and genuinely enjoys being around humans — her trust and warmth are so special to witness. She walks nicely on leash and enjoys calm strolls by your side. Odong-i has likely never lived inside a home before, so she will need gentle guidance with potty training, learning household routines, and understanding how to stay alone — just like many dogs when they first transition into a new environment. With patience, consistency, and love, she is expected to adapt well. Odong-i’s past may have been uncertain, but her future doesn’t have to be. She is ready for a family who will continue to show her she is safe, cherished, and finally home for good. Could Odong-i be the missing piece your heart has been waiting for?
