🏠 Currently in a Vancouver foster home I’m a small Jindo mix girl, about 2 years old and around 6kg (13 lbs). I may be a little dog who won’t take up much space in your home — but I promise I can fill your heart in a very big way. Before I was rescued, I was in a city shelter where my time was almost up. But kind people saved me, and now I’m waiting for something I’ve never truly had before… a forever family. When I meet new people, I can be a little shy at first. I like to quietly watch and make sure everything feels safe. New places and new faces can make me a bit careful in the beginning. But if you give me a little time and patience, something wonderful happens — I start to come closer. Once I feel comfortable, you’ll see my real self. I was rescued when I was very young and grew up living with other puppies. During my time at a foster home in Korea, I had some difficult experiences with young children who touched me too much and didn’t know when to stop. Because of that, I’ve learned to be cautious about approaching people first. But that’s not the whole story of who I am. At first, I may take a step back and quietly observe. But if you give me time and let us get to know each other, I’ll allow gentle touch, and eventually, I’ll choose to come closer on my own.
