Story
Hello everyone, I am a beautiful female Labradoodle, about 3 years old, 48 lbs and my name is Nadine. I have a long and harrowing story about my life as a pregnant stray in Brownsville Texas. I delivered 10 beautiful fluffy puppies in a burrow underneath a building beside a carwash, but heavy rains were coming so the lady who had been leaving me food called a rescue to save us all. The team and trapper at 4 Little Paws saved my puppies but couldn’t catch me, trying for weeks, then months, and thankfully they never gave up. Ultimately, a tranquilizer dart finally worked and I was caught. It was rough at first and I was terrified, making everyone think I was a feral dog, but once I had time to decompress and realize people are nice, all my fears melted away and it turns out I’m lovely.
Sweet and gentle, calm and loving, my very patient foster parents say I am the most peaceful, loving, and easiest dog they have ever fostered and was probably someone's pet in my earlier life. I’m still a bit shy when meeting new people, but warm up nicely. I LOVE having other calm doggy friends to play with and I would be happiest with a built-in doggy friend in my new home. I have a very gentle play style and although I occasionally pick up a stuffed toy, I prefer interaction with my doggy friends more than dog toys, and I LOVE attention from my people. I am well-behaved, rarely bark, and housebroken. I am crate trained, will walk on a leash, and ride in a car. I’m perfect! My future looks bright, and I am so looking forward to joining a wonderful family on the East Coast! Inquire about me today and bring me home!
