Story
🐾 Meet Tucker! Tucker is a 2-year-old neutered male Yellow Lab/Pit mix with a heart full of love and a serious obsession with fetch! He’s house-trained, knows basic commands (sit, down, wait), and at night he’s a total cuddle bug. He does great with cats and female dogs, but he prefers to have his toys and food to himself, so he’s best as a solo dog. Tucker is not a fan of squirrels or farm animals, and since he's still learning recall, a fenced yard is a must. He’s heartworm negative and up-to-date on all vaccines. If you're looking for a playful, affectionate companion who’ll love you endlessly and keep you laughing with his goofy charm, Tucker is your guy! 📍Currently being fostered and available for meet-and-greets! - Happy to meet you where you are if needed, TX 💛 Why you’ll love Tucker: Knows “sit,” “down,” “wait,” and is fully house-trained! Cat-friendly ✅ Loves female dogs ✅ Snuggle bug supreme ✅ Up-to-date on all vaccines & heartworm negative ✅

Story
Meet Popeye - The Sailor of Snuggles & Zoomies Ahoy there! I'm Popeye, an 11-month-old Lab/Collie mix weighing about 41 lbs, and I'm ready to sail straight into your heart. I was found by the police on 6/18/25 after being left overnight in front of Rockwall Adoption Center, but even with a rough start, I've kept my happy spirit and playful charm. I'm a fun-loving, energetic boy who lives for a good game of chase, a long walk, and then a well-earned nap (preferably somewhere soft and close to my people). I walk nicely on a leash, appear to be crate trained, and with a little continued training, I'll be an absolute star student. I'm the perfect mix of playful puppy energy and sweet, laid-back cuddle buddy. I tend to do best with female dogs, and a meet and greet is always encouraged to make sure we're a good match. After waiting 246 days as of 02/20/26, I've officially earned Diamond Dog status, which means my adoption fee is just $75. I come neutered, microchipped, up to date on rabies and boosters, and heartworm negative&#194&#151ready to go home and start my next adventure. If you're looking for a loyal, goofy, and lovable companion who will keep life fun and full of tail wags, I might just be your guy. Apply to meet me here: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ The crew at RAC will be in touch with next steps once your application is received. All aboard for a lifetime of love with Popeye!  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. February 27, 2026, 3:53 pm

Story
Meet Sailor Sailor is an approximately 1-year-old female Lab mix weighing 55lbs. She was found off Phelps Lake Drive in Rockwall on 2/23/26, and sadly, no one came to reclaim her. She is now officially available for adoption and ready to start her next chapter. Sailor is a very sweet, social girl who enjoys being around people. She walks fairly well on a leash but does not appear to have had formal training, so she would benefit from continued guidance and structure in her new home the same as any other new pet in the family. She has not yet been dog-tested, as she is still new to the RAC crew. For adopters with other dogs in the home, a meet and greet is strongly encouraged prior to adoption to ensure a good fit before taking her home. Her adoption fee is $125 and includes her spay, microchip, DAPPV booster, Bordetella booster, rabies vaccination, and heartworm test. All interested adopters, please complete an online adoption application at: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ Meet and greets will be scheduled with approved applicants in the order applications are received. Story
Meet Scar &#194&#150 A Diamond Dog Ready for His Forever Home Hi there! I'm Scar, a 1-year-old Lab/Pit mix with a big smile, a loving heart, and just a touch of adventure in my soul. I originally came to the shelter after my curiosity got the best of me and I went exploring to visit the farm animals next door (they looked friendly, okay?). Now I'm ready to settle down and put all that energy into being someone's loyal, happy companion. These days, I'm confident, social, and full of love. I enjoy people and don't take long to show my affectionate side. I've lived with my sibling Draco my whole life, so I'm used to having another dog around and would love a canine companion. I do well with female dogs and tend to prefer smaller male friends, and as always, a meet and greet is the best way to make sure everyone is a good match. According to my previous family, I also did well with cats and children, making me a great candidate for a fun, active household that's ready for a young dog with a big heart. I've now been waiting 100 days as of 02/20/26, to find my forever family, which officially makes me a Diamond Dog! That means my adoption fee is now only $75. Hopefully my perfect family finds me soon! I'm neutered, microchipped, up to date on my core vaccinations including rabies, and heartworm negative - all included in my adoption. If you're looking for a sweet, friendly, adventure-loving pup who's ready to trade farm field trips for family life and couch cuddles, I'd love to meet you. Apply to adopt me here: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ I'm ready to shine in a forever home of my own.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Story
Hi there, my name is Finn! I am a 4-year-old male Golden Doodle that weighs about 52Lbs. I was recently surrendered to Rockwall Adoption Center when I was no longer a suitable fit for my household. My previous family says that I am very smart and eager to learn and that I also enjoy snuggling up under blankets with my people! I would be best suited in an adult only home. My adoption fee is $125. I am already neutered, up to date on my Rabies vaccine, DHLPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, and microchipped. I am scheduled for my annual heartworm test on Wednesday, 03/04/26, which is also included in my adoption fee. If you are interested in meeting or adopting me, please submit an adoption application at https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ .  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX.
