Story
Hi there, my name is Snowy! I am a 4-month-old female Lab mix that weighs 24lbs. as of 03/17/26. I was recently surrendered to the Rockwall Adoption Center with my siblings when my family could no longer care for me, and now I am searching for a loving forever family to call my own. While I may be small right now, the staff at RAC believe I will grow to be around 50&#194&#15060 lbs when fully grown. Because I'm still a young puppy, I will need a family that understands the time and patience it takes to raise one. Puppies need help learning potty training, basic commands, and good manners as they grow. I will also benefit from regular playtime, exercise, socialization, and a consistent routine. Like most puppies, I'm curious and may chew while I'm teething, so having appropriate toys and positive guidance will help me grow into a happy, well-adjusted adult dog. My adoption fee is $125. I am spayed, microchipped, and current on my rabies vaccine, 1st DHLPP booster vaccine, 1st dewormer, and 1st Bordetella vaccine. If you are ready to welcome a sweet puppy into your home and help me learn and grow, I would love to meet you! Meet Popeye - The Sailor of Snuggles & Zoomies Ahoy there! I'm Popeye, an 11-month-old Lab/Collie mix weighing about 41 lbs, and I'm ready to sail straight into your heart. I was found by the police on 6/18/25 after being left overnight in front of Rockwall Adoption Center, but even with a rough start, I've kept my happy spirit and playful charm. I'm a fun-loving, energetic boy who lives for a good game of chase, a long walk, and then a well-earned nap (preferably somewhere soft and close to my people). I walk nicely on a leash, appear to be crate trained, and with a little continued training, I'll be an absolute star student. I'm the perfect mix of playful puppy energy and sweet, laid-back cuddle buddy. I tend to do best with female dogs, and a meet and greet is always encouraged to make sure we're a good match. After waiting 246 days as of 02/20/26, I've officially earned Diamond Dog status, which means my adoption fee is just $75. I come neutered, microchipped, up to date on rabies and boosters, and heartworm negative&#194&#151ready to go home and start my next adventure. If you're looking for a loyal, goofy, and lovable companion who will keep life fun and full of tail wags, I might just be your guy. Meet Scar &#194&#150 A Diamond Dog Ready for His Forever Home Hi there! I'm Scar, a 1-year-old Lab/Pit mix with a big smile, a loving heart, and just a touch of adventure in my soul. I originally came to the shelter after my curiosity got the best of me and I went exploring to visit the farm animals next door (they looked friendly, okay?). Now I'm ready to settle down and put all that energy into being someone's loyal, happy companion. These days, I'm confident, social, and full of love. I enjoy people and don't take long to show my affectionate side. I've lived with my sibling Draco my whole life, so I'm used to having another dog around and would love a canine companion. I do well with female dogs and tend to prefer smaller male friends, and as always, a meet and greet is the best way to make sure everyone is a good match. According to my previous family, I also did well with cats and children, making me a great candidate for a fun, active household that's ready for a young dog with a big heart. I've now been waiting 122 days as of 03/14/26, to find my forever family, which officially makes me a Diamond Dog! That means my adoption fee is now only $75. Hopefully my perfect family finds me soon! I'm neutered, microchipped, up to date on my core vaccinations including rabies, and heartworm negative - all included in my adoption. If you're looking for a sweet, friendly, adventure-loving pup who's ready to trade farm field trips for family life and couch cuddles, I'd love to meet you. Story
Meet Ripley! Ripley is an approximately 7 year-old female German Shorthaired Pointer mix who is now looking for a loving forever home. She was found running loose on Anna Cade Drive on 3/7/26 and, sadly, no one came forward to reclaim her. Now Ripley is ready for a fresh start with a family who will cherish her in her golden years. Ripley is a gentle, calm, and incredibly sweet girl who has quickly won the hearts of the shelter staff. She enjoys meeting new people and happily accepts pets and attention from anyone willing to share a little love. She also walks nicely on a leash, making her a wonderful companion for relaxed strolls and quiet time with her people. Because Ripley is still new to the shelter, we are still learning how she does with other dogs. If you currently have a dog at home, a meet and greet will be required prior to adoption to ensure everyone gets along well. Ripley's adoption fee is $125. She is spayed, microchipped, current on her rabies vaccination, and boosters are to date. She did test positive for heartworms but thanks to Rockwall PAWS, her treatment is sponsored. If you have any questions or concerns about Ripley's heartworm status, please feel free to ask RAC staff. Story
Meet Valen! Valen is an approximately 1.5-year-old female Pointer/Dalmatian mix who weighs about 37 Lbs. and is now ready to find her forever home. She was found running loose near Hwy 276 and 548 on 3/6/26 and, sadly, no one came forward to reclaim her. Now this sweet girl is hoping her next chapter leads to a loving family of her own. Valen has already won over the hearts of the shelter staff with her gentle, affectionate personality. She is a very social and happy girl who enjoys meeting new people and gladly soaks up any love and attention she can get. She walks nicely on a leash and seems eager to spend time with her humans. Because Valen is still new to the shelter, we are still learning how she does with other dogs. If you currently have a dog at home, a meet and greet will be required prior to adoption to ensure a good fit for everyone. Valen's adoption fee is $125. She is spayed, microchipped, current on her rabies vaccination, boosters to date, and heartworm negative. If you're ready to give this sweet, loving girl the second chance she deserves, you can apply to adopt Valen here: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ Valen is ready to trade shelter life for a couch, a family, and a lifetime of love.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. Story
Hi there, my name is Noodle! I am an approx. 68 lbs 1-year-old male Goldendoodle who was brought into Rockwall Adoption Center as a stray on 03/21/26 and after completing my stray hold, I am now available for adoption! I am a very energetic boy who would benefit from an active lifestyle and a consistent training routine! My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccine, DHLPP booster vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, and Heartworm negative! If you have another pet in the home, a meet and greet is strongly encouraged as I am a new resident and the shelter staff are unsure of how I interact with other animals! The staff will update my bio accordingly when they learn more about me! **Grooming note: RAC cannot guarantee that I am a non-shedding, hypoallergenic dog. I will require routine grooming every 6-8 weeks! ** If you are interested in meeting or adopting me, please submit an adoption application at https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ !
