Story
Hello! Meet Ace 🐾 Ace was born on September 23, 2021, and is a lovable, fun-loving dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He is incredibly playful, loves spending time with his people, and always finds a way to make everyone laugh with his goofy antics and silly expressions. We are making the difficult decision to rehome Ace due to the primary owner’s ongoing health issues. Unfortunately, these circumstances make it impossible for us to provide him with the time, attention, and care that he deserves. This decision comes from a place of love, and our goal is to find him a forever home where he can continue to thrive and receive all the care and affection he deserves. If you’re looking for a dog who is affectionate, entertaining, obedient, and full of love, Ace may be the perfect addition to your family. ❤️🐶

Story
We have received a large number of applications for Ella, and are not accepting new ones as we work our way through the ones that have come in. Ella may have been born in South Carolina, but she was made for the Chesapeake. This tiny, one-year-old chocolate doodle is happiest anywhere there’s water, whether she’s paddle boarding, soaking up the sun, or taking a dip in the pool. She is an absolute dream with the sweetest, most gentle personality. Ella loves dogs, cats, kids, and every grown-up she meets. She’s fully house- and crate-trained, rides beautifully in the car, and is the kind of easygoing companion who fits right into any adventure. If you’re looking for a lovable little sidekick who will happily join you on the water and then cuddle up at home (after you’ve dried her off, of course!), Ella is ready to make every day a little brighter. 🤎 My Profile Age: 1 year old Weight: 33 pounds Good with kids: Yes Good with dogs: Yes Good with cats: Yes Fenced yard: No Suitable for townhouse and/or apartment: Yes House trained: Yes. All of our animals are in foster homes. If you are not local to the DMV area, but are interested in one of our adoptable pets, that's okay. If you're approved to adopt, we can work out the geography!

K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. Story
Rocco is a high energy dog that we have had since he was 8 weeks old. He is now a year old and requires a lot of love and attention. He is extremely obedient and has been easy to train so far. Due to our demanding schedules and with the addition of a new born we are unable to give him the attention he requires. He has had no issues with other dogs or children and I am sure he will be a joy to have in an active family who has the time for long walks and daily games of fetch
