Story
Introducing Snowflake! Snowflake is a 2-year-old Labradoodle with the softest, fluffiest curls and the sweetest little teddy-bear face you’ve ever seen. His bouncy curls, soulful eyes, and permanently happy expression make him impossible to ignore—and even harder not to fall in love with. This handsome boy is the perfect mix of gentle, goofy, and playful. He absolutely loves water (the hose and bath time are his jam!), enjoys romping around with his doggy friends, and is just as happy curling up for cuddle time. Snowflake has that fun, joyful personality that keeps you smiling without being overwhelming. He’s friendly with everyone—great with kids, cats, and other dogs—and he’s doing wonderfully with house training. Snowflake is neutered, fully vaccinated, and ready to bring his curls, charm, and big heart to a forever family. If you’re looking for a dog who’s equal parts snuggle bug and silly best friend, Snowflake is your guy! RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the Pennsylvania/ New England/ Virginia area and delivered in Pennsylvania, Virginia and RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. She was sadly dumped at a shelter in Alabama alongside her brother, Clark. Despite this unfair start, Lois clearly shows signs of having once known a loving home and hasn’t let her past dim her wonderful spirit. Lois is incredibly friendly and affectionate with people and absolutely adores the company of other dogs. She’s social, gentle, and eager to connect, making her a joy to be around. At her young age, she’s in her prime for training and socialization and will thrive with a family ready to help her continue learning and growing. While Lois is currently heartworm positive, the good news is that K-9 Lifesavers is covering her treatment, and with a little rest, TLC, and patience, she’ll be feeling like her best self in no time. Lois will make an excellent addition to a loving home — and with a personality like hers, she won’t be available for long. Good with dogs,
Story
Current Location: Frederick, MD Gambet is a great big, tender, and kind gentleman with a soft heart and soulful eyes. From the moment he arrived, he began looking to his people for guidance, quietly asking for reassurance and comfort. He is gentle, thoughtful, and deeply affectionate. As he settles in, Gambet has shown just how trusting he is. His ears were dirty when he arrived, and he calmly let them be cleaned. He even allowed a nail trim on each front paw without fuss. He loves being brushed, enjoys hands-on care, and happily leans in for pets. He sheds quite a bit, but grooming time is something he seems to find soothing and bonding. Gambet potties outside and slept well through the night. He whined a little at first, then settled and rested peacefully. He did not eat until the next morning, likely still decompressing and wondering where his old family went, but once comfortable, he ate and relaxed. He still whines softly from time to time, which feels less like anxiety and more like a gentle check-in with the world around him. He knows basic commands like sit and paw and is eager to please. He has already started giving sweet kisses and shows how much he enjoys human connection. Right now, you will often find him resting quietly, soaking up affection, and slowly learning that he is safe. Gambet is a very good boy with a huge heart. He will thrive with someone patient and kind who understands that sensitive souls need reassurance as they begin again. In return, Gambet will offer loyalty, affection, and steady companionship.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Little Bear is a 5-year-old Labrador Retriever/Beagle mix with a mostly black coat and a heart full of love for his people. This sweet boy adores adults and thrives on human companionship. He's affectionate, loves to snuggle, and gets genuinely excited when visitors come to the home. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will make you the center of his world, Little Bear is ready to be your shadow. Little Bear does best in a calm, predictable environment where he can be the main focus. He's housetrained, does well in the yard, and walks decently on leash without pulling. He's treat motivated and enjoys all the pets and attention you can give him. While Little Bear loves people, he's much more selective about canine company. He needs slow, measured introductions with other dogs, as quick meetings can overwhelm him and cause him to cower or retreat. He may tolerate another dog in the home, but he tends to tire of them after a while and would honestly prefer to have his humans all to himself. When encountering dogs on walks, he'll pull on the leash to escape the situation. His ideal home would be with adults only or a family with older, respectful children who understand his need for a peaceful environment. Little Bear is looking for someone who wants a devoted one-on-one relationship with a dog who will give them his whole heart. Requirements: Calm home, adults or older children, ideally the only pet or very careful consideration with other dogs.
