Story
I rescued Fin with his brother Roger. He is about 9 months old now a little bigger than in the picture. He is very sweet, loves to be loved, and is great with my kids. His is however very scared of strangers so need time to warm up to new people. He will show his teeth if strangers try to pet him. After about a day of knowing the person he is fine. He is very motivated by food/snacks and is very smart. He knows, sit, lay down, and shake. He loves to learn, play, and cuddle. I really hope he finds the perfect furever home to a family that will love him!

Story
Parvo is no longer a death sentence since new medication that effectively cures the disease is now available. Unfortunately, many shelters do not have the resources to provide this lifesaving medication and once a dog has tested for Parvo, they automatically euthanize it. Sometimes it also means that littermates that are not currently testing positive for Parvo are also euthanized. That’s how Aiden and Eden’s story starts. These two young Labrador/Mastiff dogs were scheduled for euthanasia because Aiden had been diagnosed with Parvo. An AALOC volunteer rushed to Aiden and Eden’s rescue at the last minute and took both dogs to our vet to receive the medical care they needed. Eden eventually tested positive for Parvo as well, but both Aiden and Eden have fully recovered with proper veterinarian care. This sweet sister-brother duo has already beaten the odds after overcoming parvo like true warriors. These big, bouncy pups are full of life, love, and endless energy! Aiden is the playful goofball, always ready for an adventure, while Eden is a total sweetheart who lives for cuddles and zoomies. Together, they’re double the fun and double the love. Both are wiggly, happy pooches looking for new forever homes. Aiden’s coat is black with distinctive brown paws. Eden’s coat is brindle. Based on their suspected breeds and current size we anticipate both will grow to large-size dogs. Please apply to adopt Aiden or Eden at www.AALOC.org. Once your application is reviewed and approved we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet them and get to know them a bit. Adoption donation includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit (in Orange County, CA). For more information on adoption policies visit our dog adoption page at www.aaloc.org. Contact us by e-mail at aaloc@aaloc.org or by phone (714) 893-4393.

Story
Spencer’s story could have ended before it truly began—but thanks to a second chance, this sweet boy is here, healthy, happy, and ready for the life he deserves. Spencer was at Orange County Animal Care in Tustin when he tested positive for parvo, a diagnosis that once meant little hope for survival. With no rescue stepping forward, he was placed on the euthanasia list. AALOC couldn’t let his story end there. We brought Spencer to our trusted veterinary team, where he received life-saving treatment—and today, he’s fully recovered and thriving. Now it’s time for the happy chapter. Spencer is a striking all-white puppy with soft grey-green eyes and what might just be the waggiest tail you’ll ever see. He’s everything you’d hope for in a young pup—playful, affectionate, curious, and full of joyful energy. Whether he’s exploring the world around him or soaking up attention, Spencer brings a lightness and love that’s impossible to resist. He’s ready to leave his past behind and find a home where he’ll be cherished, guided, and given all the things every puppy deserves—patience, playtime, and plenty of snuggles. If you’d like to adopt Spencer once he’s fully cleared, please complete an adoption application. If you’re interested in fostering him on his journey to finding his forever family, we’d love to hear from you as well—just fill out a foster application using the links below. Spencer has already beaten the odds. Now he just needs someone to show him how beautiful life can be. Please apply to adopt Spencer at www.AALOC.org.
