Story
Meet Marinara! If you aren't immediately charmed by the one-ear-up-one-ear-down look...who hurt you?Marinara is a one year old lab mix that weighs just under 40lbs so he's a good middle-sized dog. Not big enough to take you for a ride if he gets the zoomies (and he permanently has the zoomies) but not small enough to, like, lose under the couch or something. When we say that Marinara always has the zoomies, that is not an exaggeration. He is the happiest dog in the entire world. Everything is exciting all the time always, his brain is a bouncy ball just ping-ponging off the insides of his skull, and when you stare into his eyes, you can hear carnival music. If your brain has difficulties producing its own serotonin, Marinara can help.Marinara would be exceedingly easy to kidnap because he has no concept of "stranger danger". He wouldn't even need to be lured with candy; prolonged eye contact would work just as well. If you're looking for a guard dog, keep looking, because Marinara loves everyone. Matter of fact, you're already best friends with him...you just don't know it yet. He does well with other dogs (obviously) but make sure the energy level is a match because his boundaries aren't great...or existent at all, really. He is afraid of cats because of course he is but would be fine with dog-friendly cats that won't bully him. Kids 10+ would be best, especially if they'll play with him (he loves to play keep away with balls and plushies). To apply, visit foreverpaws.com and click adopt to download our application. Story
Meet your local cryptid, Alfredo! Why is he a cryptid? Because, like Bigfoot and Mothman, it's impossible to get a photo of him that is 100% clear and in focus. There is always some sort of motion blur, like he's not meant to be perceived by mere technology or the human eye.Alfredo is a two year old lab mix weighing about 35lbs so definitely smaller than he looks. He is an espresso bean come to life. He is a ball of energy, always bouncing or slapping or zooming, and he is going to be a TON of fun for the right family. We've got a lot of super friendly, in your face extroverts right now (an introvert's NIGHTMARE) and Alfredo is no different. He's curious about everything and if you give him the slightest bit of attention, well, now he's stuck to you like velcro, good job. He could use some help working on his leash manners because he kind of bounces in every direction before zooming in the opposite direction but he's a good sport about it and just needs some consistency. Alfredo does well with other dogs though, again, he is an introvert's NIGHTMARE. So if you have a dog at home that wants to be left alone to do their own thing, they'll probably see Alfredo as penance for something they did wrong in a past life. He has zero idea what an angry cat is so dog-friendly cats only, please, because he's the type to let himself get bullied by something a fifth of his size. Kids 10+ as long as they're cool with a dog parkouring off of them occasionally. If you're not into the whole "stopping to say hello to every single person I walk by because my dog won't let me rest until he makes friends with everything that has a pulse" thing, then Alfredo probably isn't for you.To apply, visit foreverpaws.com and click adopt to download our application. Once complete, you can email it to us at fpas1@foreverpaws.com or fax it to us at 508-677-9175.

Story
We are looking to rehome our beautiful 3.5 year old Black Labrador. This is a difficult decision, and we want to find the right fit for her. She is very high energy, smart, and athletic/ loves to run and play in our fenced in yard. She does best with structure, clear boundaries, and a confident, experienced owner. Good with kids and other dogs. Not a beginner dog — she needs consistency and someone comfortable managing crate-related stress and challenging behaviors. Best suited for an active home with dog experience. With the right person, she will be a loyal companion.

Story
Charlie was adopted as a puppy. He loves to go on walks and rides. He has been a good family member but doesn’t always get along with the other two dogs. Charlie needs a forever home where he will be the only dog. He is a very loving and sweet boy. He has been great around very young people and low energy dogs. He’s five years old.

Story
Hello, our names are Nellie (f) and Ralphie (m). Best way to describe our personalities, like we were shot out of a cannon. We are both very happy babies. Dog social ? Yes, presently we live with a foster family who has 12 other dogs/ puppies to play with. When we were 4 months old our owner took us to a duck dog training facility. But by summertime our owner stopped paying, taking any calls or texts from the trainer. Trainer tried, and tried to reach our owner. Finally, the beginning of November, the trainer reached out to the rescue, Carlton Rescue‐ Operation Puppy Love 501c3. So, here we are ready for our own family(ies). Ralphie LOVES playing ball, burying a toy in the grass then barking at it. Nellie LOVES to be with and around you. Both are happy and playful. Please send an email to alittlelonger2home@gmail.com to request an application. When you receive the application, fill out completely including your three references email addresses. Ralphie Male Neutered Breed Labrador Retriever Color Black Age 1yr old Weight 55lbs Great with people and children, dogs/puppies. Cats unknown.
