Story
Meet Amelia! The definition of a gentle giant. Amelia is the equivalent of a deer in dog form. She is graceful, poised, sweet, and beautiful. Despite her older age, she still has so much pep in her step. She loves toys and would like nothing more than to be surrounded by her favorites while running around in a field. She is okay with younger teens, but she is a bit large for younger children since she does not know how big she is. Amelia prefers to be the only pet in the home since that is what she is familiar and comfortable with. If you are interested in Amelia, please call us here at (401)846-8276. You are welcome to stop by our Animal Care and Adoption Center here in Middletown, RI to meet with her at any time. Feel free to visit our website, www.potterleague.org, for more information on adopting from us.

Story
Meet Rocky! A gentle, timid, sensitive boy looking for a low traffic and serene environment to call home. Rocky is a fantastic dog, but he needs an adopter that is willing to go at his speed. He can be very nervous around new situations and new people, and he can take some extra time and patience to warm up. Once you are on his good side, he is an extremely affectionate dog that loves cuddling and attention. We are looking for Rocky to be the only pet in the home since he has had experiences with other dogs in the past that have made him nervous around them. He also has the urge to chase after small animals, so a home without cats or small animals would be best for him as well. Rocky will be a fantastic addition to a family that is looking for a loving, quiet and unassuming dog. If you are interested in Rocky, please call us here at (401)846-8276. You are welcome to stop by our Animal Care and Adoption Center here in Middletown, RI to meet with him at any time. Feel free to visit our website, www.potterleague.org, for more information on adopting from us.

This e-mail will have details about pick up, the balance of the adoption fee that is owed, etc. Please email your signed & witnessed contract and pay your adoption fee in full, and for any animals located out of state, you will be contacted for details about transport to New England. Once you have paid your adoption fee in full and sent back your contract, you can make arrangement to pick up your animal from the foster home or from transport depending on where the animal is located. Please bring a harness, collar, ID tag and leash when you are picking up the dog unless otherwise instructed by the foster parent. Our extensive approval process is intended to ensure the best fit between our animals and adopters.
