Story
adoption donation : $699 weight  35 lbs  Age 4 months as of 1/17        Charlotte and her siblings were dumped at a gas station in a rural part of Mississippi when they were quite young, they were starving when the Wags director  found them and took them in to the rescue. She nursed them back to health and gave them the vet care they needed and all five are now healthy and happy puppies, running and playing and snuggling together in a big puppy pile to nap.      Charlotte is so sweet! She is all tail wags and wiggles and just loves everyone she meets. She  is house trained at Wags but like any rescue may need a refresher course while she adjusts to a new home.    She is spayed, and up-to-date on his vaccines and ready for loving family of her own. We’re hoping to bring Charlotte up to the northeast next Saturday, February 8      Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs.  Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter at one of the clinics we use. Story
adoption donation : $699 weight 40 lbs  Age 6 months         Bojangles is just a joy and has the best ears ever! This gentle boy is super friendly, he loves everyone he meets and he’s great with other dogs and cats. He’s just a loving and friendly very good boy!   Not long ago Bo wandered up to the front porch of a home in rural Mississippi all alone, scared and hungry,  but his tail never stopped wagging. Sadly in Mississippi dumping puppies is very common. But Bo was a lucky pup, the family took him and cared for him and then called Wags to help. Bo has been neutered and is up-to-date on his vaccines. He is currently in Mississippi, but we are hoping to send him to the northeast on one of the transports that leaves every Friday from Tupelo.      Bo is housebroken at Wags but like any rescue pup will likely need some training as he adjusts to a new home. He loves balls and splashing in the water. This wiggly, kissy face boy with those awesome  ears ever will make a wonderful member of the family.    Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 200 homeless and stray dogs. Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter. Most of our dogs are in Mississippi and come up by Transport, dogs are listed along the Transport route or in an area where we may have volunteers who can help transport the dogs. We do have some of our dogs in foster homes in the northeast, we always need foster homes! Story
adoption donation : $499 weight 65lbs Age approx 6 years            Sweet Sadie was the much loved dog of an older woman in Mississippi who passed away last year leaving Sadie and another dog with no place to go. They ended up at Wags and Sadie’s lifelong buddy was quickly adopted, leaving Sadie alone. Fortunately, she has made tons of friends at the rescue! She loves other dogs and her tail never stops wagging.       Sadie is such a sweet girl! She is friendly to everyone she meets, and loves to follow her Foster Mom around.  She’s good with other dogs, but she will chase cats, be forewarned! Sadie is house trained at the rescue but will likely need a refresher as she adapts to a new home.          Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs.  Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Story
Age 2 years Weight 26 lbs Adoption donation $699     Megan is the sweetest! She just arrived on Saturday, April 12 at her newfoster home in the northeast and she is absolutely charmed everyone,  her Foster Mom is in love! Megan gets along with everyone, she’s great with the other dogs, she’s buddies with the cats, she is sweet and affectionate, she’s just pretty much perfect! &#226&#128&#139   Megan has a rather interesting background, she was owned by a female truck driver in Mississippi who took her with her on trips all over the country. But sadly, the woman fell on hard times and gave up Megan and several other dogs.  But Megan hit the jackpot coming to Wags, she was vetted and giving her vaccinations and spayed and just arrived in the northeast at her foster home where she acts like she’s been there forever. On her first night, she just scrambled into bed with her Foster Mom and stuck her head on her shoulder and went right to sleep.   Megan is really the quintessential family dog, she doesn’t have a drop of aggression. She will make a wonderful addition to the lucky family who adopts her.    Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 200 homeless and stray dogs.
