Story
This dog is part of our shelter outreach program where we take dogs from overcrowded shelters in hopes of finding them a forever home here! We generally do not have much background info on them and cannot guarantee they are housebroken.  They are all up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped.   6-7 months old, 20 lbs.   From Puerto Rico to the Jersey Shore! The Sato Project reached out for help, and of course we couldn’t say no. Meet three very special siblings, Bailey (boy), Lily, and Lexi (girls),  who just made the big trip in search of a brighter future.  At about 6 months old and 20–25 lbs, these cuties will likely grow to a perfect medium size (around 30-35 lbs full grown). As for their breed mix...well, that’s part of the fun! They’ve got the look of labs, shorter legs like bassets, and faces that resemble greyhounds or whippets. Whatever the combo, the result is 100% adorable.  We are looking for active homes with secure yards for these pups, along with families ready to commit to training and obedience. With the right guidance, they’ll grow into outstanding canine citizens.  Sweet, lovable, and ready to be someone’s best friend,  these pups are eager to start their new lives here in NJ. Could that be with you?*Per JSAC policy, puppies and kittens under 6 months will not be adopted to families with children under the age of 6 years.October 16, 2025, 3:37 pm

Story
Ziggy is a silver lab with all his papers. He is 6yrs old male and is honestly a great dog. He just has a hard time getting along with other male dogs. We have had 2 issues with our other dogs and it has come to the point that it is unsafe to have such aggression in our house with three young children in fear that they may get in the way when he decides to act up. He is absolutely wonderful with our children and other people but something about other male dogs gets him aggressive. We want him to find a great home and a family that will love him the way we do

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Aurora, the little heart-stealer with a gorgeous dark brindle coat and the personality to match!   She’s equal parts playful and snuggly — the kind of pup who thinks belly rubs are a full-time job (for you). Aurora’s mom is a petite black lab mix, around 35 lbs, who wandered up to the perfect home just in time to have her babies. Mom hit the jackpot and is staying put (spayed and spoiled!). Dad? Well… let’s just say the neighborhood Rottweiler apparently had the freedom — and the charm — to roam!  Now little Aurora is ready to find her own forever home — somewhere she can keep perfecting her puppy zoomies and get all the love she deserves.  Ready to adopt some sunshine with a brindle twist? Aurora can’t wait to meet you! Aurora is up to date with her puppy vaccines Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home. How to Adopt Me! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Buddy is a sweet, playful, loving lab who will be arriving in NJ on 2/21. Meet Buddy — the dog who believes every day is a reason to celebrate    This 40-lb lab mix is the definition of instant happiness. He shows up, wags his tail, and suddenly, everyone in the room is smiling. Buddy loves other dogs (seriously, he meets new friends like it’s his job), adores toys, and thinks outside time is the best time.   He’s fully vetted, neutered, heartworm negative, and totally ready for his next big adventure — ideally one that includes car rides, couch snuggles, and a family who loves his goofy, joyful energy.   Volunteers say he’s the “life of the party” type — charming, funny, and always ready to make you laugh. If you’ve been wishing for a dog who brings sunshine wherever he goes, look no further.   Buddy’s dream is simple: to find his person and start the rest of his amazing life. Could it be you?  Buddy is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.  His adoption fee is $450.  Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption.
