Perla recently scored a sleepover with one of her volunteer BFF's for some much deserved fun and relaxation! Fun was had and now we know more about this pretty lady.Perla settled into a routine quickly, is housebroken and did well in the crate. She was the best girl in the car for rides to the park. Smart cookie who proudly shows off commands: Sit, Down, Paw, Place & Look. Perfect combination of affectionate and independent. Favorite part of her getaway was finding the toy box, the squeaky Kong tennis ball was her favorite find! Hasn't quite outgrown all of her puppy shenanigans but she takes correction well. She is one and a half, could do well with dog savvy grade school aged kids, and has done well meeting some dogs at the shelter. Perla is ready to take on new adventures and will thrive in an active home with structure and boundaries. Story

Who will be the lucky family to welcome handsome Blake into their lives? Blake was rescued from a crowded shelter we partner with in NC. He is about 7-10 months old, weighs currently 45 lb and may be 50+ after growing some more. He has good calm puppy energy. He is being fostered with 2 other dogs, and gets along wonderfully with them. He loves running around the yard with them, playing catch me if you can. His foster Mom taught him to sit and they are working on his walking skills. We don't have any experience with Blake and cats or children, but we believe he would probably do well with children 5 and up. He has no guarding issues with his foster siblings, shares toys and beds. He is crate trained and housebroken. Blake has a sweet personality and would do well with another playful dog or he also would be fine as the only dog. A home with a secure fenced yard is preferred. He seems mellow, but a family that would give him the exercise and activity level he would need to be a good balanced dog.
