Story
Hello there, I'm Remmington! ✨🐾💚 I'm just a puppy, but I've got a heart full of love and energy to share. I'm the sweetest friend you'll ever meet. I'll always be by your side, loyally wagging my tail. I'm quite the goofball too! My antics will keep you laughing all day long. I'm playful and energetic, always ready for a game of fetch or a romp in the park. But at the end of the day, all I really want is to snuggle up with you. I'm full of love and laughter, and I'm ready to share it all with a forever family. Adopting me means gaining a friend who will always be there to brighten your day with a wag and a lick. As I have a medical appointment on Sept 16th I will not be ready to go to my furever home until Sept 17th 2024, but I would love to meet with you before then and start to plan our new adventure together. If you are interested in me, please email orangeville@ontariospca.ca and include your phone number so we can better contact you.I can't wait to come home to you! 💙 - Remmington 💚🐾✨ Primary Color: Tan Weight: 23.5 Age: 0yrs 7mths 0wks

Story
Hello world, I'm Bear! I'm what the shelter people call a 'stray'. I don't know why my family didn't claim me, because I'm a very nice and smart boy. I was picked up by animal control in July and transferred to Upper Credit in August. I was neutered and brought up to date on vaccines, and now I'm ready to find a new home with a nice family. I am shy with new people and new situations, but everyone has been patient and now I'm showing more of my personality. Here is a bit about what the staff have to say about me...We may not have any history on Bear, but we can tell you that he has been a perfect gentleman with us. We estimate Bear to be around 5 years of age, and his maturity shows in his disposition. Bear is clean in his kennel, shy but gentle with the staff and volunteers, and not reactive to the other dogs in his pod. After a bit of time, Bear started to let his personality shine and has become a very playful pup. He has experienced a lot of change in the last couple of months, so he's hoping to find a home where he will be allowed to decompress and adjust to his new family. He keeps his distance at first, but once he feels confident in someone, Bear readily comes in for a snuggle and a butt scratch. He loves to explore, go on scent safaris, and do zoomies around a large yard. Bear's eyes light up for food and he is very smart, so learning new skills would be a wonderful way for him to gain self-confidence while building trust in his adopter. Bear has demonstrated a prey drive chasing birds and squirrels, and he loves to chase the ball, so cats and small animals may not be the best roommates for him.If you are interested in meeting Bear, please contact us at info@uppercredit.com or call 519-833-2287

Story
Rita is sure to pull on your heart strings with her gentle tail wag and sweet demeanor. Rita is very attached and loyal to her owners. She needs time to trust new people, and it will take patience for her to make human friends. Lots of treats, positive reinforcement and slow introductions are the right way to go. When Rita is rushed meeting new people she can have a bad reaction and bite, so it is very important she interacts with people when she is comfortable. Rita can be leash reactive towards dogs and strangers. She can sometimes make friends with dogs, with a careful muzzled introduction. Rita reacts less when you incorporate lots of positive reinforcement and distance from her trigger, and she will need this type of training longterm to ensure her reactivity does not regress. Rita would do best in a teen only home.
