Meet Oreo! Oreo is a sweet and playful 4-month-old Labrador Retriever mix who is already stealing hearts with his charming personality. This energetic pup loves to run and play, and he's always eager to learn new things. Oreo is a gentle giant who enjoys cuddling on the couch and showering his family with affection. He's a quick learner and is already mastering basic commands like "sit," "stay," and "stay." Potty training is going smoothly, and Oreo is proving to be a well-mannered and loving addition to the family. While Oreo can be a bit shy and skeptical about trying new things, with some encouragement and treats, he is always open to exploring new adventures. He is also very good with children.

Story
Hello, my name is River and I am a young female dog with lots of love to give! I am very affectionate and loyal to my human friends. I am athletic and love going on outings with my human friends, but I also love lounging on the couch with them or snuggled up with my dog or cat friends. I am curious about the world around me and am brave when faced with new challenges. I love playing and running around, especially tug of war. I am still learning the ropes of things, but I have been catching on quick. I would love a new family with a fur sibling. If you are looking for a funny, loyal, and playful companion, I am the one for you! I'd love to go on long walks and play in the park with you. Please consider giving me a home and becoming my best friend.

Story
Please Share! Stevie Nicks is 1.5 years old, spayed, and chipped. She weighs 62 lb and is up to date on all shots, currently on Simparica Trio. Stevie is a very submissive, kind, and sweet dog who needs someone willing to work with her shyness. I truly believe she would thrive in a home with another dog and a yard. I'm only giving her up for her own best interest as I have to move to a smaller apartment due to the economy. I want to avoid putting her through any more trauma, especially since she’s nervous with all the moving trucks and different people around. She loves to play at the dog park with other dogs and has never bitten anyone or any dog. She’s well-behaved at home and knows commands like sit and stay. Stevie can walk on a leash pretty well, though she might pull when she sees a potential playmate. She’s a mix of lab and shepherd, and I have a big crate (Furniture crate) that I can include with her, along with her bed, 6 months' worth of flea and tick prevention, and about 30 lb of food. If you or anyone you know could provide a loving home for Stevie, please reach out! Thank you! If interested, please call Sandy directly at 484-515-5580April 8, 2025, 4:32 pm

Story
Please contact Darlene at 302-312-5129 (fureverpawsdogrescue@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.  This dog is located in Newark, DE. Visit us on the web at https://fur-everpaws.com/fur-ever-paws-adoption-application/ to submit an application. Please contact the foster directly at 302-312-5129 (text or call) or via email at fureverpawsdogrescue@gmail.com Fur Ever Paws Dog Rescue is a small no kill rescue operating in the Delaware/Maryland area. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit that rescues and places homeless, neglected or abused dogs from high-kill shelters in the south into loving, responsible committed and permanent homes. We feel our comprehensive adoption process which includes not only taking the time to match the dog to the prospective new owner but helping to educate that owner in responsible dog care, allows us to find the best homes for our little buddies and the best companions for you! Each week we use USDA certified transports to bring dogs from high-kill shelters in the south to our fosters where they all receive the appropriate medical care and are placed in nurturing loving homes while they await placement in their forever homes. Interested in one of our dogs? Great! Now that you've seen them here you'll need to go to our website where you'll find our list of adoptable dogs (updated every week). Then, it's just a simple process of finding a dog you're interested in and filling out an application on our site. Once we receive your application, whoever is fostering that particular dog will contact you and do a short over the phone interview to complete your application process. If everything works out, they will set an appointment with you so come out and "visit" with the dog you're interested in (we want to make sure that not only are you a good fit for the dog but that the dog will fit with you). If everything works out, you'll be able to take rover (or spot, or jax) home with you that very day. A couple of things you should know: We can't hold dogs over the phone or via email. Adoption fees vary based on breed. All of our dogs have been vet checked and dewormed (if possible due to age, additional treatment may be needed). We provide a spay or neuter voucher to all of our adopters. &#226&#128&#139 April 26, 2025, 1:19 pm
