Story
We are looking for a new home for our beloved beautiful pure-bred Red Lab, Copper. She turns 2 years old in May 2025. We got her from a private family (non puppy mill) in the summer of 2023 and she has remained an 'outside-only' dog. She loves people and has plenty of energy. The main reason we are looking to re home her is she is very jumpy and our five year old son does not like to be around her for fear of being knocked down. She is not an aggressive or quarrelsome dog. The second reason is she has required more training than we expected. Admittedly, we have been inconsistent trainers throughout our ownership which has not helped. She is a smart dog and understands basic commands. With consistent training and increased personal interaction she would be an amazing dog. Her new owner(s) will receive a large kennel, feeding dishes, leash, and SpotOn Collar.

Meet Zuko, a gentle Labrador/Mastiff mix with a heart as big as his paws. Though he may be reserved when meeting new people, it doesn’t take long for his affectionate, laid-back personality to shine through. Zuko is a foodie at heart and will happily trade a tail wag for a tasty treat. He enjoys leisurely walks, handles the leash like a pro, and has just the right amount of energy—enough to enjoy some playtime, but mellow enough to lounge by your side. If you're looking for a loyal companion with soulful eyes and a calm spirit, Zuko might just be your perfect match.

Dog social and playful, Ajax would love a home that embraces his goofy charm and love of all things food and fun. Whether you’re heading to the lake or lounging on the couch, Ajax is ready to be your loyal companion.

Story
Cindy is a sweet, quirky, high-energy ~5-year-old mix looking for an active home. She’s well-socialized but needs confident, consistent, patient handling — she sometimes gets anxious (shakes) and barks to protect her home/humans. She’s spayed and healthy (needs a checkup soon). Like a cat, she chases lasers, stretches her back with butt-up, and lies on the back of the couch. She loves cuddles, hugs, and walks. She knows sit, lie down, stay/wait, come/go, touch, and outside. She loves spending most of her time outdoors. Her ideal family: loves outdoor activities and daily exercise, has other playful dogs or multiple people to keep her engaged, and can offer a secure yard with shaded areas. Cindy comes with everything she needs: a crate with bedding, toys, leashes, harness, food/treats, bowls, etc.

Story
Meet Junior: Junior is a 16 month old (as of June 2025) lab / retriever mix (best guess) that weighs around 50 pounds. Junior’s owners decided they were over having a dog and planned to take him to a shelter in Mississippi. Luckily, a rescuer caught wind of this plan and was able to intercept and bring Junior in before he was taken to the shelter. Junior is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Junior is a sweet boy! Junior is a very friendly, very social, happy and energetic lab! Junior likes to play with toys and play fetch. Junior will happily hop in the car to go on adventures with you. Junior could benefit from training with his new owners to perfect his manners and leash walking skills. Junior is eager to please and learns quickly. Junior is even tempered and a sweet little labby! Junior is crate trained and house trained. We would love for Junior to have a fenced in yard to run and play freely. Junior is up to date on his shots and neutered. If you are interested in giving this handsome young man a great home, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application. CURRENT LOCATION: Mississippi, awaiting transport to PA ##2355091##

Story
Angus is a bit timid when he first meets new people but then will be your best friend for life! He is between three and four years old and will require a fenced in yard, which must be a physical fence not an underground. Angus should be in a home with children over the age of 10 who are responsible and know how to interact with dogs. Please call or message for more information , local adoption only within a few hours of Lancaster County unless a perfect fit. Angus also loves to go for daily walks so if you are looking for a walking partner look no more. Angus is selective with his dog friends but with a proper introduction he does well. However, he does not like to share food especially treats with other dogs.. adoption donation, and home visit required.
