Story
Sadie is 9 years old and was born in Colorado. She was raised with my help when my best friend and I lived together and when my she could no longer care for her I brought her with me to Texas. She has had a cough and snotty nose for some years that the vet has ruled not an major problem and in her old age has developed some arthritis when the weather turns but outside of that is an incredibly sweet and gentle girl. She loves snuggles and cuddles and smiles on command. We were told she was a lab but believe she is a mixed breed of some sort. She does get a bit of storm anxiety but will cuddle up with you if you are home and calm with benedryl or half a trazodone if you are not. She is on otc supplements for the arthritis and it has helped.

Story
Est DOB 10/10/2020 Current weight ~ 75 lbs Blind $350 adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, rabies and other vaccinations, heartworm test, deworming, and heartworm and flea preventatives while the dog is in our care. Murdock is such a sweet boy. Unfortunately he was dealt a lousy hand early in his life. Murdock is blind, and when his owner no longer wanted him, he threw him out on the street. Not only that, but he also told neighbors to shoot poor Murdock if he “bothered them”. Luckily, Murdock had an angel on his side. A neighbor reached out to our rescue and one of our volunteers/fosters went to scoop him right up! Murdock may be blind, but he doesn’t let that get him down. Once he maps out your house, he will get around so we’ll that you will forget he is blind! He LOVES going on walks around the neighborhood and at the park. He knows “follow” and is learning other useful cues for walks. Murdock is a huge cuddle bug. He loves to be pet and loved on. He loves other dogs, but can play rough, so that’s something to keep in mind! He also cannot eat with other dogs. However, after his meal, he enjoys going into the yard with them! He does have crate anxiety and cannot be crated. He also does not like small spaces. In his foster home, he is given free roam. He IS house trained and is trusted not to do bad dog things while his foster mommy/daddy are at work! Murdock will require a special home who understands his disabilities and will work with him! Story
Nova Lynn is a six-year-old sweetheart with a heart full of love and a playful spirit. She’s a happy, loyal girl who wants nothing more than to be your very best friend. Her favorite pastime is chasing balls and soaking up the sunshine outdoors—but when it’s time to wind down, she gives the best (and sometimes adorably clumsy) cuddles. She also loves showering her people with kisses to show just how much she adores them.On walks, Nova Lynn can get a little excited and pull, but she comes with a gentle lead that makes things much easier. She enjoys playing with other dogs but feels most comfortable with smaller friends, as she had a tough experience with a larger dog in the past. With patience and positive experiences, she’s sure to continue building confidence. One thing she absolutely loves? Cats!Nova Lynn is a smart girl who already knows sit, lay down, shake, stay, back, and wait. She’s a strong chewer, so durable toys are a must (and she’ll happily keep herself entertained with them). With her fun-loving personality, affectionate nature, and devotion, Nova Lynn can’t wait to bring joy and love into her forever home. Could that home be with you?Adoption Fee: $50This dog would greatly benefit from a foster home where they can continue to thrive and blossom.
