Good on a leash but does bark when passing other dogs walking. He is extremely sweet, cuddly and loving. Good with children and no presence of aggression with toys or food. Luka's sister is Mika and they are bonded, and will need to be adopted together.

shelter notes: 8/2-Ziggy was frightened to walk thu the kennels to the little yard so I carried him. Once in the yard he immediate pooped & peed, definitely house broken. He spent much of his time searching for a way to escape but consistently took a break and came to me for some affection. He was not interested in the dog in the next yard. He was brave enough to walk all the way back into recovery. He has a healthy appetite and occasionally would sit for a treat. those were notes from the pound. Once in foster awaiting transport, Ziggy gave a puncture would to the volunteer holding him when he began to stand up though he slept with his wife the night prior. He also badly punctured the hand of the transporter when attempting to remove him from the crate. He has a bite history and we have not spent enough time with him yet to know the triggers though obviously he likes to do things on his terms. He is fine when left to his own decision making. And because he is cute and one is drawn to him, no children or elders. Experienced dog people only please.

She has pretty much reached her adult height and weight with maybe 1 pound to gain. She is mostly Maltese and will need to be groomed every 2-3 months to keep her straight hair from tangling. DARCY is my shadow but she does not get in my way, she just likes to go wherever I go. DARCY does go outside to play with a couple of Shih Tzu's and have fun. DARCY can be a bit of a diva and a bossy little girl to the other dogs. She just tries to keep them in order. But she plays well with the others and she loves to cuddle. She is about 75% potty trained. I do not have a doggy door and let her out to potty with the other dogs and she does just fine. She is completely crate and house trained. I have no problem leaving her alone in my home with my personal dogs while I am gone. She is not destructive or get into personal items. I do not have any cats so I do not know how she would get along with them. It took DARCY about 2 days to get to know me and show her real personality so some patience is required but then she becomes your shadow and best friend. He is quite independent and does not get in your way. He loves laying on his blankets and doggy bed. I do NOT have any cats so I do not know how he would do in a home with cats. And he is very afraid of bigger dogs and will bark at them out of fear. Other than that he gets along with all of the small breed scruffies in my home. The face and front part of him is straight like a Maltese and his body is curly like a poodle, he has a short curly tail. He may not be a pure breed but he is a preferred breed.
