Story
Zoe is a beautiful 7-month-old Morkie with a fun, playful personality and so much love to give. We purchased her in January 2026, and she has been well cared for and loved ever since. She is healthy, up to date on her care, and all veterinary and purchase records will be included. Zoe is very energetic, affectionate, and would thrive in a home that has the time and energy to give her plenty of attention, play, and continued training. She would likely do especially well with an active individual, couple, or family familiar with small-breed puppies. Zoe is partially house trained and making progress, though she still has occasional accidents as expected for her age. Because of her tiny size, she can fit through small openings in a fence, so a secure outdoor setup or supervised time outside is important. This has been a difficult decision for our family, but with two young children at home, we feel Zoe deserves a home better suited to her energy level and needs.

Story
Hi, I’m Baby Shark, a 6-year-old Maltese mix with a big attitude and even bigger personality! Despite my small size, I’m basically a cranky little old man trapped in a dog’s body, and I know exactly what I want and how to get it. 😎 I’m quirky, independent, and definitely particular about what I like—like, don’t even think about picking me up or brushing me. I’m Baby Shark for a reason, people. 🦈 Now, you may be wondering, “What does Baby Shark do for fun?” Well, I love to watch TV—especially Stepbrothers. 🛋️ I have an undeniable obsession with Will Ferrell (don’t ask me why, I just love him), and I’ll happily sit there and watch the movie on repeat if you’ll let me. Even though I can be a little grumpy at times (hey, I’m not that old, but I’m set in my ways), I’m also a huge cuddle bug. I may not want to be picked up, but I’ll happily curl up next to you on the couch for some quality cuddle time and pets. ❤️ I’m a total social butterfly and love hanging out with cats, kids, and other dogs. I’ve come a long way and have captured the hearts of everyone lucky enough to meet me. 🐾 Oh, and did I mention I LOVE chicken? 🍗 If you ever need a way to win me over, just offer me a little chicken, and you’ll be my best friend. If you're looking for a quirky, lovable little guy who’s full of surprises, then I’m your man. Adopt Baby Shark and let’s enjoy some laughs, cuddles, and, of course, some Will Ferrell movie nights together! 😄

Story
Hi! My name’s Worm (short for Wiggle Worm), and I’m a 3 ½-year-old Maltese with a whole lot of personality packed into my little body. I might be small, but don’t let that fool you—I’ve got the energy of the Energizer Bunny and the confidence of a Great Dane. 💪 I don’t walk like other dogs—I bounce! It’s like my feet are made of springs, and I’m always ready for my next adventure. Whether it’s chasing my toys, zooming around the yard, or just keeping you on your toes, I’m a whirlwind of excitement. 🌀 I’m sweet as can be and great with kids (they match my energy!). I’m also okay with dog-savvy cats who can handle my big personality. However, I’m extremely picky when it comes to other dogs. I do not get along with large dogs, so I need a home where I can be the king of the castle or have very carefully chosen small-dog friends. 👑🐾 Now, about my living situation—I need a secure yard with a 5-ft fence (no chain link for me, please—I’m clever and might try to escape!). A GPS collar is also required, just in case my springs launch me into a new adventure. If you’re looking for a bundle of chaos, cuddles, and non-stop entertainment, I’m your guy. Adopt Worm today, and let’s bounce into a lifetime of fun together! 🐾✨

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet. This darling little girl is DARCY, a bit over 1 years old and 8 pounds.  She has pretty much reached her adult height and weight with maybe 1 pound to gain.  She is mostly Maltese and will need to be groomed every 2-3 months to keep her straight hair from tangling. DARCY is my shadow but she does not get in my way, she just likes to go wherever I go.  DARCY does go outside to play with a couple of Shih Tzu's and have fun.   DARCY can be a bit of a diva and a bossy little girl to the other dogs.  She just tries to keep them in order.  But she plays well with the others and she loves to cuddle.  She is about 75% potty trained.  I do not have a doggy door and let her out to potty with the other dogs and she does just fine.  She is completely crate and house trained.  I have no problem leaving her alone in my home with my personal dogs while I am gone.  She is not destructive or get into personal items. I do not have any cats so I do not know how she would get along with them.  It took DARCY about 2 days to get to know me and show her real personality so some patience is required but then she becomes your shadow and best friend. If you are interested in adopting DARCY, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         May 9, 2026, 10:09 am

Story
Meet Chino! Chino is a 4-year-old Maltese looking for a calm, patient home where he can be someone’s one and only. This little guy is learning what it means to be loved and cherished — and while he may be shy at first, once you earn his trust, he’ll give you his whole heart. Watch his video here and come back to read more about him! https://youtu.be/7dnuzhZ3kR4 Chino is still getting used to affection, so he needs someone who understands that trust takes time. He would thrive with a single person or older adult who has prior dog experience and can offer consistency, quiet, and love. Once he feels safe, he’ll be your faithful lap dog — content just being near you. He walks well on a leash, is treat-motivated (especially when cheese is involved!), and is working hard to be on his best behavior to earn your affection. Chino lives in a home with small dogs like him and BIG dogs too. He is a not playful with any of his foster dog brothers. He prefers to lay in bed with his person and lap up all the affection and love. When his foster dad comes home he runs up to his leg and paws for attention. If you have a soft heart, a patient spirit, and an open lap, Chino may just be the loyal companion you’ve been waiting for. Email Stephanie@threelittlepittiesrescue.org We facilitate adoptions across the US through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA  or Brattleboro, VT for the eastern Canadian border)! Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles, including buses and cargo vans. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey!   You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience!    The adoption fee is $1,200 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!    We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.    Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!    Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.   Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.    The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs.   It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:   Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family  Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions  70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer  Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup!   Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Myles — a happy, lovable Maltipoo who’s ready to find his forever family! Born around March 12, 2025, Myles weighs 17.6 pounds and is full of personality. He came to us as part of a 29-dog seizure where, although the dogs were cared for, they didn’t get the individual attention and socialization they needed. Despite that, Myles has proven to be incredibly friendly and people-loving. He thrives on attention and is always excited to be around his humans. Myles would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time, as he truly enjoys companionship and being part of daily life. Myles has also been seen by an ophthalmologist and has cataracts in one eye. He is currently on special eye drops, and we are hopeful for improvement with continued treatment. He also has a playful side—he absolutely loves toys and is always up for some fun. Whether it’s a game of toss or just carrying his favorite toy around, he knows how to enjoy life. He’s currently learning how to walk on a leash and will benefit from a patient adopter who can continue helping him build confidence and skills. With his sweet nature and eagerness to connect, Myles is sure to make a wonderful companion. Myles’ adoption fee is $400. If you’re ready to welcome this charming boy into your home, you can apply at www.adoggie4you.org . This dog is currently in Texas; however, he can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, or along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $250. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.
