Ellie came to us from the streets of San Luis Obispo via animal services in very bad condition. She is a great little dog. Sweet temperament. Her main skin issue remain so needs constant skin care from shampoos to lotions and we change to keep testing different options and now with a foster in Sharon she has her on a diet that seems to be helping. Under our care, her hanging unsightly tumors were removed. One eye was removed and she was spayed. She is an affectionate, alert and happy dog even given what she has been through. Special little gal! She does bark however and it is a loud bark and her housetraining is improved,but not perfect. She can make you smile.

Buddy is a 4 yr. old maltese/shihtzu mix looking for a forever home where he can thrive. This great little guy is the perfect balance between playfulness and professional sleeper, making him an ideal companion for someone who is looking for energy and calm. He loves spending time outdoors so a home with a fenced in yard is what we are looing for, so he is able to romp around safely. He gets along well with other dogs so he would love a canine "buddy" to play and snuggle with. Here's the important part, so Buddy finds the perfect home! He needs an ADULT ONLY home, experienced in resource guarding who is open to working with a trainer and behaviorist so Buddy can be understood, and all can live in Harmony. This is something that is common in dogs and can be managed. A strong confident person who will set boundaries for buddy, which includes keeping him OFF furniture like sofa and beds. Buddy truly is a love and needs all the support he can get to find his perfect "forever" home. I might be small, but don’t let that fool you—I’ve got the energy of the Energizer Bunny and the confidence of a Great Dane. 💪 I don’t walk like other dogs—I bounce! It’s like my feet are made of springs, and I’m always ready for my next adventure. Whether it’s chasing my toys, zooming around the yard, or just keeping you on your toes, I’m a whirlwind of excitement. 🌀 I’m sweet as can be and great with kids (they match my energy!). I’m also okay with dog-savvy cats who can handle my big personality. However, I’m extremely picky when it comes to other dogs.
