Story
Meet Montgomery, a handsome 4-year-old boy with a heart full of love and a spirit that shines bright. With the most adorable underbite, he is a real head turner! Montgomery had his leg amputated because it was severely broken when he came to us and he was in a lot of pain. The vet recommended amputation. He gets around beautifully, keeping up with all the fun and adventures just like any other dog. Montgomery is happy, confident, and never lets his three-legged status slow him down. He enjoys spending time with people and is always ready to share his sweet personality and wagging tail. This special guy is proof that resilience and joy come in all shapes, sizes, and even three legs! *Montgomery is currently in a loving foster home in NJ. He will soon be at our Saturday adoption event in search of his forever home. At Trust Rescue, we're dedicated to connecting loving families with wonderful canine companions. Story
Bristol is the devoted sister and official "eyes" for her blind brother, Revi, and together they are an inseparable, deeply bonded pair. Bristol takes her role seriously, but she is also a total comedian and a joyful companion in her own right. She is fully house-trained, exceptionally clean, and sleeps peacefully through the night with her brother in the foster family's mudroom. Bristol is a major squeaky toy enthusiast—in fact, her favorite game is bringing her foster mom squeaky toys over and over again, demanding they be thrown back to her! She is incredibly kind, chirpy, and thrives in the company of both humans and other pets. Bristol is looking for a forever home alongside her brother, Revi, where they can continue their beautiful partnership. If you are ready for double the love and laughter, please reach out to Trust Rescue to meet Bristol today! *FULLY SPONSORED BY THE GREY MUZZLE FOUNDATION * Fully sponsored by The Grey Muzzle Organization. ALFALFA has been signed off by the vet and is ready for his forever home as an “as- is” senior sweetheart. Meet ALFALFA, our adorable senior Maltese blend whose life experience has prepared him to become the cherished pet you've been seeking. An extremely kid-friendly fellow, ALFALFA will follow you from room to room and enjoy his foster fidos. He loves to go for walks and relishes his meals of kibble and wet food mixed together. It's all about the simple things for this little guy: giving and receiving affection, sharing a stroll and a snack, looking across the room for a check-in and a "good boy." He's easy in the best possible way, and when you meet him, you'll realize that you've won each other's hearts in a twinkling. Apply today! 🌟 A Special Note About Adopting a Senior Dog 🌟 This Fido has been signed off by the vet and is ready for his/her forever home as an “as-is” senior sweetheart. Our senior dogs are proudly sponsored by The Grey Muzzle Organization, meaning there is no adoption fee to welcome one of these wonderful dogs into your home! While the adoption fee is waived, we provide these dogs "as-is," and we ask that all potential adopters fully embrace the unique reality of a senior companion. Please be prepared for these common, graceful signs of aging: Mobility: A senior dog won't move like a 2-year-old; expect mild stiffness or arthritis. Sensory & Vitality: You may notice slight cloudiness in the eyes, hearing loss, or common, age-related heart murmurs. Dental Health: Due to past life as a stray, many seniors have compromised dental health. These are natural, non-emergency findings that come with age. If you are not prepared for a dog that acts and moves like a senior, we kindly ask that you explore adopting a younger dog instead. If you are ready to provide comfort, love, and a peaceful next chapter to a dog who has earned it, our seniors are waiting for you! ❤️ At Trust Rescue, we're dedicated to connecting loving families with wonderful canine companions. You can trust that every "Fido" in our care is unique, fully vetted, and altered per veterinary guidelines, ready to find their forever home. Story
We would like to introduce you to Lucy, a young Maltese or Shih Tzu mix estimated to be about one year old. Lucy came into our rescue in extremely poor condition. She was emaciated, little more than skin and bones, and her coat was so severely matted that she had to be sedated in order for us to safely remove the hair. When we saw how thin she was under all that matting, it was clear she had simply not been fed or cared for properly. Over the past few weeks, Lucy has made remarkable progress. She has already gained 3 pounds and is steadily regaining her strength. Her personality has begun to shine through: she is spunky, high-energy, and very affectionate. Lucy is still learning basic house manners. She is currently working on her housebreaking and improving her leash manners. She can also be mouthy at times, which suggests she may never have been taught appropriate boundaries about using her mouth with people. We are actively working with her on this, and she is responsive to guidance. She is a chewer and will chew on anything she can. Despite her rough start, Lucy gets along excellently with all humans and truly does not have a mean bone in her body. She now enjoys playing with other dogs and would likely do well in a home with a compatible canine companion. However, Lucy is not suited for a home with cats. Lucy is a resilient young dog who, with continued structure, training, and affection, has the potential to become a wonderful companion. If you would like more information about Lucy or are interested in meeting her, please feel free to contact us. At pawdazzlepet@ail.com

Story
Lady’s a 7yo 10lb Maltese mix. She’s dog selective, cat and kid 13+ friendly. She’s housebroken if kept on a schedule but will wear a diaper and use pee pads and crate trained. She’s good in a secure fenced in yard and/or going for harness leashed walks. She’s agile, smart, likes squeaky toys, people and going for walks but will bark at people, dogs and noises. She is easy startled so best to sleep in a dog bed on the floor so not to accidentally wake her while sleeping. Lady’s foster requires a calm home, where someone is home often, so not to be left for long periods of time, be an only dog, brushed/groomed often to prevent matting along with leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far. Lady as all dogs should have 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first. Lady takes medication for a seizure disorder and for her eyes. She’s spayed, vaccinated, HW negative and microchipped. Currently in Phila, PA. If your home meets the needed requirements and you’re interested in applying to adopt please do so at www.tprescue.org

Story
Meet Charlotte, a fabulous 10-year-old poodle mix who is here to prove that age is nothing but a number. While she technically qualifies as a senior, Charlotte still has a mountain of energy and a zest for life—she just happens to have some very specific royal preferences. Simply put: Charlotte thinks leashes are completely overrated. Why walk when you have a perfectly good human to carry you like the queen you are? She is a total lap dog at heart who wants nothing more than to be held, cuddled, and chauffeured around. All she needs is her new hair cut so her glamorous tendencies on the inside match the outside. If you're looking for an energetic, loyal sidekick who prefers arms over sidewalks, Charlotte is your girl! To see more of Charlotte in action, please follow this link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1AylrMFz8pDyIL-hvv0Oz5LiEuvUcVnr_?usp=drive_link If you're interested in adopting this animal, please come meet them at our shelter (1242 Lombard St.)! Our adoption hours are Tuesdays and Saturdays from 12-5pm, and Wednesdays and Fridays from 12-7pm. No appointment is necessary!
