WISE is entirely volunteer-run and all of the donations made to our rescue go directly back to the animals in our care. By partnering with veterinary practices that support our work, we are able to save animals lives and restore them back to health. While some animals only need standard care, others require more extensive veterinary or behavioral care. Regardless of which dog you are applying for, we are looking for adopters to support our program with a minimum donation of $850. The donation may or may not be directly applied to care of the dog you're adopting but rather goes toward supporting all of the dogs in the rescue. Please keep this in mind prior to applying.NAME: Mary JaneBREED: Maltese x PoodleDOB: Jun 28, 2025 (16 weeks)GENDER: femaleHome Recommendation: Mary Jane would benefit from a home where someone is around often to offer companionship would be ideal, as they truly enjoy human connection. She also loves spending time outdoorswhether its lounging in the yard, soaking up the fresh air, or taking leisurely walks. A home with access to a safe outdoor space or nearby parks would suit her perfectly. Overall, she would do best with someone who appreciates her sweet, gentle nature and enjoys quiet moments both inside and outside together.Personality: Mary Jane is a gentle, affectionate dog that would thrive in a calm, loving home where they can be part of the familys daily life. She adores being around people and will happily curl up for a good cuddle session at the end of the day.KIDS: YesDOGS: YesCATS: YesTraining: Mary Jane is settling in beautifully and adapting well to her new routine. She enjoys going into her crate on her own to rest or chew on her toys. When the dogs are not sold, the puppy mills destroy them, and it is legal to do so.
