Patrick’s an 8yo 9lb Maltipoo. He’s dog and kid 7+ friendly. He’s housebroken when kept on a schedule but will wear a belly band in the house. He loves toys and acts like a puppy. He loves being with his people, getting tons of attention and love. He's so loving and wants to be held, sit on your lap or cuddled next to you at all times. He will bark to be picked up. He loves to be put in a dog sling carrier and go on errands with you. Target is his favorite store. Patrick’s foster requires a home, where someone is home often, so not to be left for long periods of time or can be taken with them, be picked up to be allowed on furniture to get attention, cuddles and love along with assistance with stairs, and using ramps for getting on/off furniture. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far. Patrick as all dogs should have at least 2 weeks in their new home to decompress with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first. Patrick came to Tiny Paws in March 2025 with Grade 5 Intervertebral Disc Disease. This caused complete paralysis with no deep pain sensation in his back legs. After months of daily red-light therapy along with muscle supplements and water therapy, Patrick is not only walking, he’s running! He will need some assistance with stairs, and ramps for getting on/off furniture. We along with his vet are just AMAZED at his progress over the past 11 months! He’s neutered, vaccinated, HW negative and microchipped. Currently in Mt Laurel, NJ. Lady’s a 7yo 10lb Maltese mix. She’s dog selective, cat and kid 13+ friendly. She’s housebroken if kept on a schedule but will wear a diaper and use pee pads and crate trained. She’s good in a secure fenced in yard and/or going for harness leashed walks. She’s agile, smart, likes squeaky toys, people and going for walks but will bark at people, dogs and noises. She is easy startled so best to sleep in a dog bed on the floor so not to accidentally wake her while sleeping. Lady’s foster requires a calm home, where someone is home often, so not to be left for long periods of time, be an only dog, brushed/groomed often to prevent matting along with leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. My name is Stormy and I am looking for a forever home. I found myself at a scary place called a shelter in rural south Georgia where I was waiting to get adopted and then something happened and they said they needed to move as many of us as possible (we found out later it had something to do with some really bad fires). A small local rescue contacted BCAA to see if they could help and they said, "of course!". So now myself and some of the friends I made at the shelter found ourselves in a foster home and are coming to New Jersey on Saturday, May 16th. A little about myself: I appear to be a fluffy white mix and the best guess is maybe a maltese with a poodle ... in other words, a malti-poo. The vet thinks I'm about 8 months old and I weigh a little over 10lbs and might get just a little bigger but not by much. I am pretty shy when I first meet new people 'cause of all of the changes in my young life but with a little bit of time, TLC and some treats I have started coming around to my foster parents. I have gotten along with all of the other small/medium dogs I have met and I don't bother those things called cats. I've done pretty good in my crate with just a couple of accidents in the beginning until I started learning the schedule around here; I also am not a barker nor do I tear up of any of my bedding; I even share my crate with one of my friends I came into foster without any issues. I'm a little bit of a fast eater and my friend will is slower so I try and get his food, too, so my foster mom does keep us separte for eating. I am still pretty scared about that thing called a leash so I will need some more practice with that, so until I do learn it, I will need a fenced yard in order to take care of my business and explore.
