CASHMERE is also still looking for her furever home. Cashmere(Cash) is a 7 yo Maltese weighing 12 lbs that we rescued from a commercial breeding kennel. Cash had to have her remaining teeth removed due to decay but has no trouble eating food. She has a great appetite and runs over when hears the refrigerator door opening. She goes potty outside, walks daily around the neighborhood on a leash, enjoys good soft food and exploring the yard. She is good with every dog we meet and our pitbull. She is good in the crate overnight and I have left her for 4-5 hours during the day with no problem. She knows “go potty”. Her crate has also been dry overnight. She will also be happy to sleep in your bed with you all night. She knows come, time to eat, let’s go for a walk, and of course No. She will need another calm dog in the home to show her the ropes and build her confidence. I do have a fenced yard and that would be preferred as she loves it. But if no fence, she will need to be on a leash to be safe and need a daily walk or two. She is still shy and will need someone with patience and know that it takes time for them to trust you. Mill dogs make the best pets ever who will bond with you forever. Cashmere is now spayed, up to date with vaccines and microchipped. She tested negative for heartworm and has been started on monthly heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $250.00. Based on the information we received, we believe he's a Maltese/Shih Tzu mix, though at his size it's likely there's another larger breed sprinkled into the mix, too! Whatever his family tree looks like, one thing is certain—Sprinkles is as sweet as his name. He is incredibly friendly, curious about the world around him, and loves cuddles, belly rubs, and spending time with his people. Sprinkles has a nice, easygoing personality and is perfectly happy enjoying a leisurely walk before settling in for an afternoon snooze on the couch. He is open to meeting other dogs and would do great with kids, but we're told he is not a good fit for a home with cats. Sprinkles will also need regular grooming to keep his coat healthy and comfortable. Lady’s a 7yo 10lb Maltese mix. She’s dog selective, cat and kid 13+ friendly. She’s housebroken if kept on a schedule but will wear a diaper and use pee pads and crate trained. She’s good in a secure fenced in yard and/or going for harness leashed walks. She’s agile, smart, likes squeaky toys, people and going for walks but will bark at people, dogs and noises. She is easy startled so best to sleep in a dog bed on the floor so not to accidentally wake her while sleeping. Lady’s foster requires a calm home, where someone is home often, so not to be left for long periods of time, be an only dog, brushed/groomed often to prevent matting along with leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far. Lady as all dogs should have 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first. Lady takes medication for a seizure disorder and for her eyes.
