Story
Romeo is a 5yr old neutered male Maltese. He weighs 8lbs. Romeo was retired from breeding. His hair was badly matted and he had to be totally shaved done. Romeo has never been shown love. He is a scared little boy who is just starting to realize that life can be about love and snuggles. He does seem to like to be held and carried. He will take extra time , love and attention but he is worth it. He is very kind and gentle. He needs to be loved and spoiled. He will need help with house training. He has been fine with other dogs and children. He has ignored my cat. He is up to date on shots and wormed. He is already neutered. The adoption fee is $400. If interested in meeting this cutie, please email heritagefarms08@gmail.com or call the foster at 419-591-6621. When emailing please include information about you and your family including other pets.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Meet Ellie May. She is approximately a 10-12 yr old, 11 pound maltipoo. She is spayed, microchipped,  vaccinated and had a recent dental. Ellie is very sweet, but timid. It is suspected that she has had a difficult life prior to coming to DASH. She is not completely house trained, but is making progress. She's quiet unless crated, then she voices her disapproval.  She gets along well with other dogs, cats and people of various age although she has not been tested with children under 6 yrs. She has mild damage to one eye that has been checked twice by a vet and they had no concerns about long term problems. She travels well in the car. Ellie would be best with someone that is home alot. She's not one that will jump up in a lap, so her forever family needs to be willing and able to pick her up to place on furniture. She loves her bed and is quiet all night long. If you're interested, our first step in our adoption process is to submit an application online from our website. www.dashanimalrescue.org  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 23, 2023, 6:59 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Sydney’s adoption donation is $550 and she is being fostered in Central Ohio.  She has been spayed, microchipped, received her rabies, distemper/parvo, bivalent canine influenza and Bordetella vaccines, tested negative for heartworms and started on prevention, as well as flea prevention.  Sydney requires a companion dog of similar size and energy and a fenced yard. We will not consider applications that do not have a fenced yard and a companion dog as our assessment has determined that she needs this at this time. Sydney came into rescue through no fault of her own. She is a super sweet, playful girl who would benefit from a playmate and a fenced yard. Sydney is still learning to walk on a leash so the fenced yard would definitely benefit her at this time. She does well on housetraining if kept on a schedule. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.PLEASE NOTE:   If you are viewing this biography on a website other than the Ohio Fuzzy Pawz website like Petfinder, Adopt-a-Pet, or another search engine (the OFP website is www.ohiofuzzypawz.com), not all information transfers to partner websites in some instances.  If you go to the  individual webpage of our dogs , you will be able to get more information each dog. Visual breed identification in dogs can be unreliable so, in many cases, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix.  We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. Our Adoption Process The adoption process has several steps involved. Please review prior to submitting an application. Our adoption process is detailed here:  http://www.ohiofuzzypawz.com/info/adoption Our volunteers work very diligently to process each application and we try to ensure that we are making the best match possible for each dog.  We do not schedule meetings with dogs until an application has been approved.  It can take up to a few weeks to process an application or as little time as a few days, from the time you submit an application, please be prepared to adopt as we cannot hold dogs. Special Requirements Some dogs may have special requirements (for example, medications, a fence) -- if you apply for a dog, please be sure to read over the biography completely to see if there are any special needs and if you're home would be suitable.  If we indicate on the dog's biography that a fence is required, this means your home must have a physical fence.  Other dogs may require a "strong vet reference" which indicates that we are looking for a home that has a documented history of veterinary care with previous pets.  The first step in our process is to submit an online adoption application at www.ohiofuzzypawz.com/forms.  The application MUST include the personal references and veterinary, grooming, and landlord references (if applicable) and their respective contact information.  If you do not include the references and the contact information, your application will be delayed as it CANNOT be processed.  Once the references have been successfully completed, a home visit is then scheduled when a rescue representative can meet all members of the family or residents of the home.  No application is approved prior to the home visit being done.   At that point, the Directors will discuss any and all applications on a foster dog and make a selection--in many cases, there are multiple applications for each dog, so please be understanding that our only priority is the successful placement of each of our foster dogs. Out of State Adoptions We do adopt out of state to outstanding applicants, however, our process requires a home visit, so out of state adoptions can take longer.  We do not ship our dogs, adopters should be prepared to pick up the dog in Central Ohio.  September 23, 2023, 1:30 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Tobias' adoption donation is $375 and he is being fostered in the Mansfield, Ohio area. He has been neutered, microchipped, received his rabies, distemper/parvo, bivalent canine influenza, and bordetella vaccines, tested negative for heartworms, started on prevention as well as flea prevention. He has also had a dental cleaning with some extractions. Toby came into rescue through no fault of his own when his owner could no longer care for him. He is gentle, easy going and gets along with other dogs but his main devotion is to his person. Toby loves to take walks and is excellent on a leash. He gets so excited to go in the car and is a great traveler. His other favorite activities include being near his person, having his belly rubbed, being outside, greeting the neighbors and rolling in the grass. Toby is excellent with his potty skills when kept on a schedule. He has been working on losing weight and would benefit from daily walks.  Toby is taking a daily liver support supplement which is most likely temporary.  He had elevated liver enzymes which are improving and almost normal.  This needs to be monitored periodically.  The perfect home for Toby would have either another dog or a person who is retired or works from home. If you're looking for an almost perfect best friend, he is your guy!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.PLEASE NOTE:   If you are viewing this biography on a website other than the Ohio Fuzzy Pawz website like Petfinder, Adopt-a-Pet, or another search engine (the OFP website is www.ohiofuzzypawz.com), not all information transfers to partner websites in some instances.  If you go to the  individual webpage of our dogs , you will be able to get more information each dog.
