Meet Gilly! This sweet 6 year old Maltese is the total package! She is gentle, sweet, happy, and affectionate. She enjoys laying on her foster mom's lap, going for walks, and lounging by the fire place. Gilly came from a farm, but is loving life as a house dog! She is almost completely house trained, with only one potty accident since coming to her foster home! Our Gilly girl likes to go for walks, but does pull mildly. She gets along with other dogs, ignores cats, and doesn't mind small animal pets. Gilly would be happy as the only pet in the home, or with animal companions. Gilly is too ladylike to roughhouse with rowdy young dogs, and much prefers her calm foster siblings over the rowdy ones. Gilly is currently crated when her foster mom goes away, but is very well behaved and could likely graduate to having a dog safe space without a crate once adopted. This pup is an easy going, happy go lucky gal who is more than ready to have her forever family! She loves ALL people and would do well in most any home! Gilly is fostered in the Lancaster, Pa area. My sweet Linnie 💗 Linnie is a 10 year old Maltese little lady who was time stamped at ACCT Philly. Her owners surrendered her to the shelter because it was obvious by her breath that she needed a dental and they said they could not afford it. The team at Zoe’s House, with the help of our wonderful community, got her free of the euthanasia list and into a loving foster home. She was determined to have a serious heart murmur but with medication, she was cleared to undergo surgery to be spayed and to have a dental where the diseased teeth were removed. It was also determined that Linnie has some mammary masses, likely from not being spayed early in her life, which are likely cancerous. Her heart and age caution against the prolonged surgery to remove these masses. Linnie is on a daily heart medication and gabapentin for any discomfort. Linnie is unbothered. She is a lady who knows what she likes and what she wants. She enjoys her meals, long naps thereafter and loving in between. She travels fabulously in the car and walks well on a leash. She loves a pup cup 😋She is house trained and cares not for the crate. She doesn’t need it. She is a true lady who is just hoping to enjoy her golden years close by her human. She is being fostered with other small dogs and tolerates respectful interaction but she would love to be the center of your eye and heart. She is a joy❤️ Linnie is being fostered in Collegeville, Montgomery County. A home visit and meet and greet with all residents is part of the application process. She is up to date with vaccines and preventatives. She is microchipped. He’s timid and would do best in a calm, quiet home with someone patient who will let him build trust at his own pace.Even though he’s still a bit nervous, Spencer happily greets his foster family with a wagging tail when they come home, and once he’s comfortable, he enjoys couch snuggles and gives the sweetest kisses. He does great with other dogs and would love a home with canine friends to help show him the way. Sebastian is an 8yr old moxie who’s perfect around infants to adults. He’s in love with everyone he meets and will do anything you ask of him. He will sleep and cuddle right by your side and also give you space when needed. He’s potty trained and will tell you if he needs to go out. He was born and raised around our newborn which made him a perfect dog to have around babies and kids. He would even let kids pull his ears and be rough with him without ever reacting with violence. He’s still very active and you’d think he was still a pup with how fast and adventurous he is !
