Story
Tina Tuggle (AKA "Luna") is precious in every way—smart, playful, adorable, and incredibly cuddly. Beneath all that
sweetness, she’s a sensitive little soul who is still learning that the world is a safe place. Her first reaction to new people or situations is often fear, but with patience, gentle reassurance, and love, she blossoms beautifully.
She absolutely LOVES going for walks (sometimes turning them into little runs!), and once she’s outside, her happy personality shines. New experiences—like going down stairs—are still a work in progress, but Tina tries her very best with encouragement. So much of life feels new to her, and it’s been amazing to watch her grow more confident each day.
Tina does well in the car after a brief moment of uncertainty. Once she feels safe, she settles in—often curling up on the passenger seat. Soft voices and gentle pets go a long way in helping her relax and feel secure.
At home, Tina is a devoted little companion. She sleeps through the night on her cushion in bed and loves to nap nearby during the day while you work or relax. She has cozy beds in every room, but truthfully, she just wants to be wherever you are.
She’s working on her potty routine—using pee pads when left alone (with a little room for improvement on aim!)—but she primarily goes outside, whether it’s in the yard first thing in the morning or during her three daily walks.
Tina is still building her confidence with new people and bigger dogs. She may want to retreat at first, but with gentle reassurance, she warms up and does just fine. She especially enjoys being around smaller dogs and often gravitates toward them on walks.
It took about 10 days for Tina to fully relax in her foster home, and since then, her playful spirit has really come alive. When she feels safe, she gets the cutest zoomies and will happily invite you to chase her around—it’s her favorite game!
Tina Tuggle is truly lovable to her core. She just needs a patient, understanding home that will help her continue learning to trust. In return, she will bring so much joy, sweetness, and companionship into your life

A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters:
Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:
✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.
✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).
✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.
The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.
Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.
Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.
