Story
Happy is a 4-year-old, 19-pound Maltipoo with a gentle soul who loves walks, sunshine, and quiet afternoons. He’s an indoor dog who adjusts well after settling in and is usually good about going potty outside. In Dec. 2024, Happy suffered a disc slip that temporarily paralyzed his back legs, but he’s made a great recovery. He’s lost some strength, but can still walk, run, and go potty as normal. Happy does experience anxiety and needs time to warm up to new people. He has shown fear-based behaviors and has bitten when feeling threatened. Because of this, he needs an experienced, patient adopter and a calm home—ideally without small children or frequent visitors. He would thrive with someone who understands anxious dogs and can provide structure, security, and gentle guidance. As we prepare to welcome a new family member, we’re looking for a loving home where Happy can continue to thrive. If you think you’re the right fit, we’d love to hear from you.

She is very intelligent but family has grown with infant and special needs children that she needs a family who can give her more quality time. She was purchased from a breeder from puppies.com in November of 2025, she was born September 17 2025

NO LA area - NO LA county at all -- certain areas might be exception depends where potential adopter is actually located. Foster to adopt only- NO exceptions Must be willing to drive to TUSTIN we do in house vaccines DHPP, boredella and microchip. Rabies and spay / neuter will be at our license vets office in Orange County. No exceptions with using your vet while your under contract at all. Once pup is adopted to the potential adopter they may use there vets office at that time. Puppy criteria / description MUST have another pup in the home under 4 years old under 20 pounds has to be living in the home currently. Anyone who fits this criteria - and interested in adopting a little boy or girl they will be go to their forever homes at 8 weeks- once there old enough to leave mom.

No out of state adoptions - Northern California will not be considered - Needs to be local to Orange County only -- NO LA - NO La county - will be accepted. owner surrender due to landlord issues / moving not allowed to have dogs. Boys are 6 months old- supposedly parents are Maltipoo but surely doesn't like it at all -- we think they are mixed with something else we will be doing DNA test to see what mix is - little nervous but overall very sweet boys. Puppy criteria- MUST HAVE another dog in the home between ages of 1-4 years old- under 20 pounds - will not make exceptions -- However if someone is willing to adopt two puppies from our rescue we are totally okay with that.
