Story

This is my sweet sweet Murphy. She will be three in October and is the biggest love bug. She has a big sister that she has grown up with and unfortunately their dog pack has unexpectedly changed. This has been the most heartbreaking decision to even be making this post. My girls are my everything, I have worked closely and hard with two trainers to mend their relationship but ultimately it is not working out for them. (Not her instigating, my other one is very protective/the issue). Murphy was in therapy dog training with me to provide services to elementary aged students. She has been highly trained, loves to pretend she is a lap dog, very calm, quirky and laidback. She loves belly rubs, occasionally playing fetch, and loves her treats. Her safety will always be my number one concern and that she finds a family that will love and spoil her just as much as I do. I’m looking for a family that would like to do a trial with her and overall work with me if I can’t re home my other dog.

I'm a strong and active boy who thinks I'm a lap dog. I get excited when it's time to go on walks, but then once we're walking, I'm calm. I do get excited when I meet kids, but after I will calm down and I leave them alone, unless they keep playing with me. Little kids might be afraid of me because of my size and run away from me and I think that they want to play, so just watch them. I would do best in a home with older children. My best day would be to: Going for a car ride to a park to go for a walk and then come home and nap. Other tidbits about me: I do fine being left out to roam the house when no one is home, because all I do is lay on the couch. I like being introduced to other dogs slowly and properly, otherwise I get over-excited. If, when I first meet new people and they have sunglasses on, I can get scared. As I am a pretty big boy, I can be strong when I get excited, so you need to be ready if you have the leash. I am not really interested in toys, but there are times when I do get the urge. I do slobber, so make sure to keep towels around.

Toby was saved from being Euthanized because he had a cold😔 This sweet boy is just a baby. Great with everyone. Just needs puppy training that no one ever took time to give him. And has puppy energy so needs exercise. He would be a great addition to any family 🥰

She had 2 pups a week later and she has been waiting for her furever home too!! She can be a only dog or go to a home with another dog. Sadly she has been in rescue for half her life and we would love to see her get a home to cherish her like she derserves. He found his way to an LA County Shelter in California, but his time there was tough. He was initially quite timid and frightened, but since joining a rescue group, he's made remarkable progress. Over the past several months, Louis has been showered with love and attention from many caring individuals, and he's blossomed into a much more social and confident dog. Louis is not just a dog's best friend; he's also dog-friendly himself. He arrived at the shelter with a female companion, and they've become inseparable friends, so he would thrive in a home with another dog. While Louis has made remarkable strides, he hasn't been around children, so it's unknown how he would react to them. However, his all-around sweet nature suggests that with the right guidance and a patient family, he could be an excellent addition to a loving home.
