Since being rescued from the shelter, she’s proven herself to be the perfect houseguest—gentle, loving, and so grateful for a second chance. Affectionately known as Tavi, she’s ready to leave her past behind and find a forever home where she can truly shine. She just needs someone to give her that chance… and we know she’ll give a lifetime of love in return. Due to Tavi's neglect, she had a severe eye infection when we rescued her from the shelter on the euth list.  Unfortunately, we were unable to save her eye but that doesn't stop her one bit! ##2688495##

Meet Phoebe! Your one and only best girl!  This sweet lady is looking for a home where she can soak up all of the love and attention she deserves. She is affectionate, loyal, and ready to be someone's very best friend. Preferably without having to share her spotlight with another dog.  She would thrive as the only dog in the home, where she can relax, feel secure, and enjoy her people all to herself. She would do well with older, respectful kids who understand how to give a pup her space when she needs it.  If you're looking for a loving companion to be your sidekick, cuddle buddy, and devoted 4 legged family member, this beautiful girl may be exactly who you're looking for.  Phoebe is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $300.  All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.   Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. This is Scarlett.She is an "American Molossus", but the form doesn't have that as an option. Her mom is full American Molossus, her dad is half American Molossus, half Great Dane. So she's a little more slender than her breed usually gets, but she's still a big girl (220+ lbs).All my life I've wanted a big dog, truly big. And my wife surprised me for father's day 2 years ago with a puppy. And she grew fast. She is currently a little north of 220 lbs. She is spayed and microchipped and current on her shots. She is loving and playful and protective. She does drool a lot, but we got used to having a handful of "dog towels" around the house to just wipe up after her. And she's trained to come to me so I can clean her face after she drinks water.But unfortunately, I am in the military and live in military housing, and now we have to move, and won't be able to bring her.Please understand that this is not easy, I do not want to give her up, but she's a good girl and deserves a good home.

Dogs are being turned in higher numbers than the shelter can accommodate; therefore, many are losing their lives simply due to a lack of cage space. Dash is a 5 year old Saint Bernard/Bernese and has such a cuddly personality! He is protective and loves his people and is very patient with kids (we have 5 ages 5-15). He is a big boy - 140lbs - with a gorgeous coat and the sweetest eyes. Dash can be anxious and overwhelmed with lots of activity around him so would do best in a relatively quiet and calm living environment - preferably with someone who is experienced with Saints/large dogs. He doesn’t have any destructive behaviors (chewing, digging, etc) and is house trained and easy to teach where to go potty outside etc. Please let me know if your home might be a good fit for this pup!
