Story
Max is a 2-year-old male poodle mix (Dr. thinks Terrier). I adopted him from the shelter 3 months ago and I’m realizing that I cannot care for his high behavioral needs. He has been growlng and biting more and more. I am about to take him to the shelter any day now because I don't know how to deal with him and I don't think he's safe in my home. He's so so sweet most of the time though. If anybody is experienced and can handle him please contact me as soon as possible.

Story
Please contact Constance (connibouchard@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Rescued dogIf you are interested in me after reading about me, please visit my site, http://www.breederadoptions.org and follow the instructions. The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, so are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train.  Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue.  However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by at least one veterinarian, usually two. We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs. The dogs we rescue have lived with other dogs all of their lives and most get along with other dogs. We state if they are dog aggressive. We require a permanent, full-time parent. That means you must be able to spend the majority of your time with your new companion to socialize and train. We do not, under any circumstances, place them in homes with young children as they have not been exposed to children and we do not know how they will react. Please do not waste your time or ours if you are not prepared to adopt within 2 weeks and you are not willing to pick the dog up at its location. Hi! My name is Toyota, and I am a Maltipoo boy who was born 7/15/16, and I weigh 7 pounds. I have been shaved for hygiene, but my hair will grow back, and I will be beautiful. I need aa quiet home and I would love a sibling to play with and learn from. If you have been waiting for a beautiful Maltipoo, please ask for me on your application to http://www.breederadoptions.org. Love, Toyota 031823-34  September 27, 2023, 10:07 pm

Story
Meet Muffin! She ended up at the shelter with 2 others all matted and scared. But thankfully we rescued her and she loves the spoiled life! She is absolutely the 8 lb lap dog you all think she would be! She would make a perfect companion for someone that loves to hang out with their dogs all day as she just loves to be by her humans. A big yard or short walks is all she seems to really need so if you are looking for a mellow dog this is your girl! She loves to crawl up in your lap and lay with you. Talk about a perfect lap dog! Good with all kinds of dogs, humans and kids! We are still working on house training but shes most good as long as you are aware of the signs. she is crate trained and does well sleeping in her crate through out the night **All POSO dogs come fully vetted, 1 week adoption trial and with 2 free dog training sessions after adoption! *If interested please fill out adoption application: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/640228b201ef963f63061cc1/64ffc7ace8c04c79c70868cd
