Story
*Woof* Meet me at 71 Oglethorpe St NW between 12pm-7pm daily!Lively little doggie Lenny Claw-vitz prefers to be called just Lenny! He is an adorable sweetie is search of a great home where he can become a cherished family member. Poor Lenny arrived at the shelter so matted that we could not tell heads from tails. Can you imagine how uncomfortable he was? We fixed up this good boy and he has bloomed! He is a frisky guy who will appreciate a home where he can settle in at a slow pace. He has been through a lot recently so he needs patience, kindness and LOVE! Lenny has the type of hair that keeps growing so he needs to see the doggie groomer every few months to keep his hair free from painful mats. He’s a high maintenance pooch but he is worth it! Can you give this innocent darling the home he so needs? Meet Lenny Claw-vitz soon- he needs you!

Story
Elliana They gave me a fancy name at last! Can you believe it? I have been used as a breeder dog for years and years and then dumped at the local pound with a mammary gland tumor that you could play tennis with!! Who does that!!! At least that is what my foster mom thinks my life has been like. I sat there in a cage at animal control for 4 weeks before anyone would think about pulling me out of there but my foster mom said that she had to take me home so that I would have a chance to be a beloved pet before I die. Not that I am planning to do that anytime soon, but you never know. Anyhow, I went to the vet right away and had that big nasty thing taken off my stomach and the vets knew right away what it was and what it was from. They took out the baby making bits as well, so I won’t have to go through having my babies and then losing them right away to being just a baby and money making factory for somebody. Sheesh….get a job!! I have some issues, I won’t lie, but I am starting to kind of get used to being out of a cage, where I learned to circle around and around as there wasn’t a lot of space in those things. I can walk in a straight line and the more I get time outside, the more I am enjoying the fresh air and smells in the grass. I will revert to circles when I am nervous but Rome wasn’t built in a day and I have only had freedom for a couple of months now. I don’t have many teeth, as the ones I did have were rotted and broken from trying to eat the bars I suppose. I startle easily from the lack of being held and loved in my former life, and will try to “gum” you if I pick me up too quickly. But speaking to me and touching me before you pick me up will let me know you are there and going to be gentle with me. I am still getting used to the being held part, and sometimes can’t tolerate it very long, but I am learning and going slow is really helpful to me. I am learning what good food tastes like, and what a soft bed feels like, and while I have pretty limited vision to see things, I can follow my nose and it helps me to find everything I need to get around. Foster mom leaves me a puppy pad to potty on in the house if I have to go at night, and I am pretty good at using it. It took a while to figure out that is what it was for, but also, if I potty outside after meals, I am good if I keep to a schedule. So that is my story. If you are interested in giving a blind old lady a soft landing for the rest of my life, let me know. Local adoption in Texas only please.

Story
Me me me me meeeeeee!!!!!! What? Oh. My foster mom says that is NOT how to spell my name. It is spelled “MiMi" which sounds the same but who cares how it is spelled. I am a vintage model of a little poodle and I was a much loved member of the family at one time. Not to say that I am spoiled or anything but I know what I want when I want it! So it really is all about me! I adore being around my people and love being held. I will make little whimpering noises if you are there and I think I haven’t had enough lap time and look at you with my puppy dog eyes so that you feel guilty and pick me up where I want to be. I am a healthy 14 year old poodle who is scheduled for spay and teeth cleaning on Jan. 5th and then will be able to go to my new home after that. I use a potty pad when I am sleeping on the floor, but my foster mom puts a diaper on me when I sleep on your bed because I am not too keen about jumping off the bed. So when I have to potty, if I am on the bed, sometimes I will potty the bed. But the diaper takes care of that. I am a whopping 10 pounds and do walk pretty well of a leash as long as you don’t walk too fast. I am housebroken if you take me out on a schedule. Adoption fee in Texas is $200 Out of State fee with transport and fuel surcharge is $450.

Story
Hi! This is Casper, a delightful, 4-year-old Miniature Poodle. Ive had him since he was a tiny, one-month-old puppy, and he has been a source of constant joy ever since! Casper is incredibly joyful, silly, and playful. He loves a good game of "keep away" with his favorite toys and gets adorably excited the second he sees his leash for a walk. Poodles are smart and loving, and Casper is no exception! Good with Dogs: He gets along very well with other dogs. Good with Kids: He is great with children, making him a perfect fit for a family environment. Training: He's house trained and knows basic commands like stay and sit. Unfortunately, I am moving and need to rehome Casper and his sister, Athena. They have been together their entire lives, and they share an incredibly strong bond. I am strongly hoping to adopt them together.

Story
Some dogs just have a way of reaching right into your heart, and Vanna is one of them. She’s a soft, scruffy little doodle mix with warm eyes and a gentle nature that makes you feel like she’s known you forever. Her life started in hardship, born out in the woods to a doodle mix mama dog owned by a homeless man who simply couldn’t give the puppies a future indoors.   At only 8 at the time weeks old, Vanna and her sister were rescued by a kind young woman who brought them home and loved them dearly for the last ten months. Unfortunately, life circumstances changed and she bravely chose what was best for Vanna rather than holding on when she could no longer afford the vet care and stability Vanna needs. Now Critter Cavalry Rescue will finish everything to prepare her for a bright new chapter — spay, vaccines, heartworm test, and microchip.   Vanna weighs 26 pounds and has that soft, fluffy coat that will absolutely glow with a little grooming. She’s happiest when she’s with other dogs and really doesn’t do well spending long days crated and alone. She wants activity, companionship, and people who include her in daily life.   Leash skills are still new to her, but she’s bright and willing, and she’ll blossom quickly with gentle guidance. A fenced yard or daily off-leash playtime is a must for this girl. She loves to stretch her legs and run, and while she will stay close, her recall comes from trust and bonding, which she gives wholeheartedly once she feels safe.   Vanna is loving, affectionate, and full of gratitude for every bit of kindness she’s ever been shown. Her previous mom saved her life — now we want to find the family who will cherish it forever.   Think you might be the one for Vanna? Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJanuary 20, 2026, 9:56 pm

📌 Important Adoption Information All of our dogs are currently living in private shelters or foster homes in South Korea. Once an adoption is approved, dogs will travel to the United States through legal and approved international transport procedures. Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process. • Rescue Story: Found wandering the streets of South Korea last July, Aladdin was rescued just moments before euthanasia. His walk seemed a bit unusual, and further exams revealed issues with both hips and his patella. He underwent surgery in September–October, and he’s now almost fully recovered — a brave boy! He’s currently staying at a veterinary clinic and patiently waiting for his forever family who can truly give him the loving care he deserves 🙏💛 • Personality: Affectionate, Active, Easy-going A playful affectionate sweetheart! He loves cuddles even with new people❣️ Energy level is medium–high — a happy, playful boy who loves to run around😆 • Affinity with - Dogs: Good with other dogs but prefers to be the only dog in his home as he tends to feel jealous. - Cats: Not tested - Adults/Kids: Good with people / No experience with children yet, but considering his personality, he'd be good around gentle children. • Housetrained: Indoor–outdoor hybrid! He may need a little refresher on potty training in a new environment. • Walking Manners: Loves sniffing around and walks nicely without pulling! • Bathing/Brushing: Good with both • Separation Anxiety: None. • Barks/Howls: Only barks following other dogs. • Car Rides: Great with car rides. • Appetite/Food Allergies: A big eater! / No food allergies found so far • Likes/Dislikes: Loves being held and cuddled, eating treats, and running around! • Shedding level (1~10): 1-2 • Health: After rescue, he had surgeries on both hips and his patella (last Sept–Oct). He’s now almost fully recovered! With steady walks and exercise, he’ll continue to build good muscle in his back legs🥺 💙 Adoption Fee Information The adoption fee already includes all major expenses, such as: International transportation, Customs and export documentation, Medical care (spay surgery, vaccinations, health certificate, deworming, etc.) For this reason, we kindly ask that you refrain from requesting a breakdown or negotiation of the adoption fee. Your support directly helps us continue rescuing and caring for dogs in need, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding.
