Story
Stella is a 3-year-old, 50-to-55-pound mama dog of six, and she's a good one! A combination of Poodle and Sheepdog, she has a great temperament. Her foster says she's playful, dog friendly, super sweet, and loving. Add to that her beautiful coat, and it's obvious she's a terrific girl, don't you think? (posted 3/7/26, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **March 7, 2026, 3:45 pm

Story
Best friends looking for a forever home—together. These sweet girls are a year apart and inseparable: - Minnie the Boston Terrier is 4 years old - Roxy the miniature poodle is 3 years old Both came from a breeder and have just been spayed. Roxy (Miniature Poodle) Roxy does well with other dogs and tends to adjust to new environments fairly quickly. She’s a bit timid with people, so she’ll do best with someone who can offer quiet love, patience, and a gentle approach. She does not walk on leash yet, but with time and consistency she can learn. A small, securely fenced area would be a huge bonus for her—and for Minnie too! Minnie (Boston Terrier) Minnie is a total sweetheart at heart—cuddly, kissy, and eager to love. At the same time, she is very fearful of the leash and can react fearfully when being patted. She’ll need someone who understands that slow, gentle interactions are key to earning her trust. Minnie is not fully house-trained yet, but she wants to be! She’s already showing great progress—preferring to go outside and holding it to do so. Having lived her life in a pen with woodchips, she’ll just need patience and encouragement as she learns what home life is all about. These girls bring out the best in each other, and we would LOVE to see them stay together. If you have a calm home, a big heart, and room for two special souls, Roxy & Minnie may be the perfect pair for you. Adoption application is available on our website: www.puppypawsrescue.org Adoption fee is $300 each.
