Story

**I am located in Georgia, but I can be transported north to you!** *Courtesy Listing- Available For Pre-Adoption* Name: Freya Breed: Unsure. Possibly a Mountain Cur or working breed mix. Whatever I am, I sure am cute! Sex/Age/Weight: Female/ Estimated DOB August 2026 /15lbs and growing Vetting: Currently getting my first round of puppy shots and will be getting rabies and spayed soon. House trained/Crate Trained: Not yet, but I am working on it. Dogs/Cats/Children: Yes/Yes/Yes. Fearless and friendly, I love everyone I meet. I am still learning not to teeth on all his friends though. Energy Level: High. I love to run and play like any puppy. Before FAR/My History: I was found abandoned in a box when I was just a few days old and was originally part of a large litter. My foster parents bottle and hand fed me and my brother (Fenri). I still depend on my humans for guidance, love and safety. Training Status/Commands I know: Sit if food is involved. I instinctively know to wait on my humans to tell me what to do next or to wait on food. Working on: Only going potty outside or on pee pads. I will stick to my favorite locations and will use a pee pad if there’s one in these places. I also know to run to the back door to be let out after being released from my crate. Things I like: Treats, cuddles, running around the lawn, stuffed dog toys and naps with my favorite humans. Things I don’t like: Bath time Things that make my humans happy: How sweet, friendly and intelligent I am Ideal Family/Home: Someone with a big yard so I can sprint full speed. I have long legs and lots of energy so I need space to explore. I also need someone that is very attentive and likes to have their dog(s) nearby. Special Notes: I am a strong-willed little girl and I will let you know what I want. I am also more vocal than my brother (Fenri). But I am also a sweet girl. If a lap is available, I love climbing in it for a good nap. It’s very adorable, even if I may eventually outgrow my human’s lap. If you're interested in fostering or adopting Freya, please send us a message!

Spayed or Neutered,

Story

Cookie has a horrible story to tell. She has grown up outside. As she became older, she lived life chained to her dog house. She was bred by a stray male dog while she was on a chain and survived the January snow storm while on a chain. Rescue stepped in to get her spayed and fully vetted. She was boarded at the clinic to recover. During this time, everyone realized how absolutely sweet & smart she is! We would love to find her a forever home. Cookie is just over a year old and weighs 49 lbs. She is house and crate trained and uses a doggy door well. She is great with other dogs and kids. Cats unknown at this time. She was very curious about the clinic cats so may not have been around them before. She is ok on a leash but still learning about that. She is not a resource guarder but can be a counter surfer. She’s not big on toys just yet but loves chew bones! She is shy at first but is learning so many new things and is doing great! Please consider giving Cookie a happy ending to her story. She is so deserving of one. Complete an application at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FOFC/Dog
