Born: August 22, 2025 I am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $500 Meet Grizzly, a cheerful, bouncy pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart! Even at his young age, this smart boy already knows “sit,” “down,” and “touch”—he’s eager to learn and loves showing off his skills. Grizzly is still working on his potty training but is making great progress and will use a pee pad. He absolutely loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful canine companion or regular doggy friends. Full of energy, love, and puppy charm, Grizzly is ready to bring joy, laughter, and plenty of tail wags to his forever family! All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. He loves to run full sprint outdoors, and is always up for stretching his legs before settling in for a snuggle. Elmo is obedient, highly trainable, and already pee-pad trained with a consistent outdoor potty routine, making him refreshingly predictable for a puppy his age. He enjoys resting in his own bed and can easily be taught to stay off furniture if that’s your preference. While he’s still a little unsure about cars (toys and bikes included) and anything with wheels, Elmo’s sweet, adaptable nature makes him a joy to guide as he grows. Elmo will need an adopter who is dedicated to proper training and socialization to ensure he grows to be a good canine citizen Elmo’s adoption fee is $400. Ziggy is also very cuddly with his human and his dog walker. He loves to play tug-of-war and run very fast. Ziggy is reactive and leaps up on people, even after taking his medications for anxiety. He has a prior bite record when he was in a traumatizing situation before coming to our home. Ziggy loves to run, and run, and run! He would stay outside all day if you let him. Tiffany the sweet cur mix's Story Arriving in Wisconsin May 29th! Introducing Tiffany, a gorgeous 11 month old female mixed breed. She weighs about 30 pounds and we do not anticipate her to get much bigger. While we do not know her exact breed mix, we believe she is a cur mix. Tiffany is a sweet girl but shy girl who through no fault of her own ended up in the shelter in rural Texas. She is now in a foster home in Texas where she is learning how to play. She is enjoying being around people and dogs. She is doing well on crate and potty training. She can't wait to find her forever family in Wisconsin. Health & Vetting: Tiffany is up to date on vaccines for her age, is spayed, dewormed, and microchipped. She will come with medical records and an interstate health certificate from a licensed veterinarian confirming good health prior to transport. Adoption Details: Tiffany will arrive in Muskego, WI on May 29th. She will be available to meet (and go home if it’s a good fit) to the first family who has placed a deposit to hold her exclusively for them. Adoption Fee: $500. Deposit: $250 (applied toward adoption fee) The balance of the adoption fee is due upon meeting/finalizing the adoption. Luke is so endearing with his sweet personality and cute underbite! He is approximately 6-7 years old and weighs between 40-15lbs. Good with other dogs and people, but no cats for this boy. Rescue partner foster update: Luke is one cool dude with a quirky grin. He gets super excited to go for a walk to explore the neighborhood and walks nice on his leash. He gets along with the resident dog and enjoys playing with toys with his foster Mom. (He can 'catch' quite well!) Luke can be trusted alone in the home but, would rather not be away from his person and will 'howl' to let everyone know he misses you! Because he is vocal, he would not be suited for an attached resident such as apartment, condo or townhome. He will make someone a great 'velcro' companion!
