Meet Bruce!
4 months old | Mountain Cur Mix | Certified Snuggle Champion
Hi! I’m Bruce (sometimes called Shadow, which is weird because I swear my name is Bruce…), and I am all in on this snuggle life. I may look big, but don’t let that fool you—I’m still just a baby who loves being the little spoon. My favorite place? Curled up in bed next to you (yes, it’s my bed, even if my foster mom keeps insisting it’s hers).
I grew up with my siblings, so I get along great with other dogs. I also live with some cool human kids and even cats! I really wish the cats would play with me—or at least let me get a good sniff—but in the meantime, the humans will do just fine.
I’m a chill pup who enjoys romping around with my foster siblings and then taking a good nap (or three). Couch, bed, blanket pile—it’s all fair game for a Bruce-nap. I love chew toys, soft stuffed animals, and especially treats and bones. Those are non-negotiable.
I’m working hard on potty training and doing really well with it! Crates aren’t my favorite (yet), but I’m trying. What can I say? I just want to be near my people.
I already know how to sit and wait my turn like a good boy. All I need now is a forever family to spoil me with snacks, snuggles, and a spot on their couch.

Our standard adoption fee is $375 cash or check and $385 credit card ($10 processing fee). . It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping.
We must have an application, conduct a phone interview, and meet your entire family to approve an adoption. Applications will not be reviewed unless fully completed. An application does not commit you to adopting and does not guarantee adoption but does allow us to begin the review process.
