Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Sadie is a comical, quirky, and spunky girl. She came from a neglect case in rural Kentucky, where she and other dogs were found abandoned and starving in an outdoor pen. Sadie is fortunate to be alive! Sadie is spunky when she is outside. Inside the house, she loves to curl up in a blanket on your bed or be cozy in a dog bed. Sadie loves bully sticks and will work them down as a beloved pastime. Sadie is well-behaved in the house, housebroken, and quiet. When she sees something out the window, she may alert vocally though! She is approximately 8.5 years old and weighs about 41 lbs. When outside, Sadie loves to zip around and explore. She does need a 6-foot fence as she can climb over a 4-foot fence. Sadie loves to go to the dog park and her favorite activity is to bark at other dogs in hopes that they will run so she can chase them.  Sadie is also a squirrel enthusiast so she will tree them and bark, both  in the yard and at the dog park, so sometimes she does need to be re-directed. Sadie loves to chase and bark at other dogs. She does not harm them, though she likes to dominate them like this to get them to play her game.   Sadie zips around like a racehorse at times and is agile and free. She goes from zero to 40 in about 3 seconds. Sadie is a joy to watch at the dog park, just keep walking (taking the lead) and that refocuses her energy! Sadie does have a little random incontinence (likely due to her age) and is on a medicine called Proin. She takes half a tab twice a day and it seems to help her greatly.  Sadie is a bit of an alpha, but can easily live with other dogs, and does mingle with all kinds of dogs at a dog park. Sadie is good with other dogs, older kids, but no cats for Sadie. This senior gal is very lovey-dovey, and loves to be pet, pampered, and smooched. She has a soft, yet also spunky nature and exudes sweet southern charm. Sadie is definitely one of a kind! Story
Location: Minneapolis, MN Crostini has been an absolute rockstar. Not a single accident, and he’s already mastered life as a three-legged adventurer. He can’t wait for walks, and the moment you take off his cone, all he wants is to get as close as possible for a cuddle. He’s the sweetest, gentlest boy and loves with his whole heart. Every now and then he’ll give a little nibble to get your attention—not because he’s being rough, but because he’s so excited to connect with you. It’s the kind of nibble that makes you laugh and say, “Easy, OUCH, buddy!” while he looks at you like you’re his favorite person in the world. When I met him, he had a broken leg and a positive attitude. Now he has three legs, the same positive attitude, and a whole lot of love to give. He’s truly special and will do best with someone who can handle a bigger boy whose favorite hobby is loving people and other dogs. 💕 --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Sleepy Eye, MN Tito is a beautiful, mixed breed young female dog with a sleek, smooth, and soft coat who often appears to be smiling. She is usually happy and enjoys playing with other dogs and getting attention from her people - she is a bit cautious around new people or fast-moving children. As with many dogs, she does a "happy dance" when her people come home, pick up a leash or she is let out of her crate. She is excited to go for walks and is becoming more confident. She would make a great companion for someone who wants to get out and walk. She has enough energy for a couple of walks a day. She enjoys sniffing and exploring during the walk. Tito has almost mastered house training. She almost always takes care of business outside but does have an occasional accident indoors—usually when humans miss her cues or she is having too much fun to ask to go outside. Although she sleeps in her crate, she probably would be very happy to have a home with someone who wanted to share a bed with her. She also enjoys morning belly rubs. At this point in her life, she likes nipping the other dogs' ears and hind legs so she might do better in a home with a confident dog about her size or larger or possibly would do quite well as an only dog. She does jump up when excited so would probably do better in a home with children at least 10 or older. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Lynd, MN Hi! My name is Gunner. I recently came into rescue from ND. I’m a really happy boy! I basically love everything other than maybe when my foster mom is gonna leave & she puts me in the kennel. I do okay in there though. I don’t have any accidents. I love people so much! I like to shadow my foster mom & follow her everywhere to make sure she is okay! I have a young foster brother here too & we love to play! I also love the resident dogs. I’m very interested in the cats here too, but I’m getting used to them & learning I need to leave them alone or they punch me! There are a lot of kids here too & I really love them. I’m still young, but I’m learning quickly to not jump & be respectful of the tiny humans! I have a giant yard here & I love to play out ther e & run! They have a whole basket of toys here & I dig through to find my favorites! Sometimes I grab something I shouldn’t around the house, but if you give me a toy or bone I am happy to take that instead! I sleep on the floor in my foster parents room & I really enjoy that. I have had very minimal accidents since I came to live here too & they are very proud of me. I don’t mind others around my food whether they are humans or other dogs. I’m told I’m such a beautiful boy with my silky coat & pointy ears. My foster mom really likes pointy ears! I really think I like this life that involves warm beds & snuggles! Do you think you could be my new family? --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
