ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:
Brooke, a 9-year-old pointer mix, was adopted from HT when she was just 8 weeks old. Regrettably, she was returned to the shelter as her owner had to relocate to Germany and was unable to bring her along. This decision was undoubtedly challenging for her owner, who had to say goodbye to a cherished friend.
The term "charismatic" aptly describes Brooke. Her gaze has the power to captivate those around her, inviting them into her enchanting world. It is impossible to resist her charm, especially with her endearing eyes. Upon encountering her foster or anyone she perceives as a potential friend, she eagerly wags her tail. She instinctively lies down and rolls onto her back, eagerly seeking a belly rub. Her affectionate nature is evident as she showers others with gentle kisses, showcasing her sweetness.
Brooke enjoys so many things. Below are a few of her favorites:
1. Basking in the sun
2. Taking long naps
3. Going on walks with foster
4. Playing in creeks or any body of water.
5. Fondness for the outdoors and, when left to her own devices, will joyfully explore the yard, following scents, and will eagerly chase a squirrel up to the nearest tree when motivated.
6. Loves wearing bandanas costumes, and jackets
7. Enjoys playing and hanging around with adults, children and infants
8. Loves treats and accepts them with great gentleness (especially peanut butter bones)
Brooke may be 9 years old, but she has the energy and spunk of an adolescent. She is an incredibly sweet and friendly companion in search of her forever home. We assure you that meeting her will be a delightful experience.
