Story
Sweet Juniper is still available, with all equipment & food included, no fee! Juni has been a beloved member of our family for over 2 years. She’s well-behaved, loving, curious and cuddly, cautious with strangers but not aggressive. She loves short runs in the park and playing tug, doing puzzles and trick training. Juni has a high prey drive and is irritated by the neighborhood cats, so please no cats or small animals in the house. She plays with dogs her size and larger at the dog park with no problem. Her DNA test says the mix is Pitbull Breeds, Lab, American Eskimo Dog, and “Supermutt”. She’s smart, calm at home, likes 1/2 to 1 mile walks, is crate trained, will bark warningly at people coming up to the house but doesn’t attack. Her rescue background makes her nervous in strange environments but once accustomed she’s fine. We’re so sad to lose her, but have a very sick child, and foster who is afraid of dogs.

Story
Our sweet Ginger was found under a house abandoned at only ten weeks old. She was rescued and placed into a humane society in blakely, georgia and was facing euthanasia. We saw pictures of her on facebook and immediately fell in love with her. She was tucked into a corner facing away from the camera and just looked like a puppy who needed love. We contacted the humane society and adopted her that same day! Ginger has been with us for almost 10 years. And has been the most loyal dog. She is a cuddler and loves lots of petting. She loves wearing sweaters during the winter and a door's going on long walks. She does very well on leash, and as a big teddy bear. She does very well with simple commands (sit, stay, shake, and even hi-five.) She's never been a dog that jumps up on people and instead will greet you with tail waggling and a big smile. She absolutely loves the question "wanna go for a ride?" And as the best shotgun rider you'll ever have.

Story
Gracie was dropped off in our neighborhood about a year ago. After determining she was not microchipped and no one came forward to claim her, we decided to keep her. We have loved this dog! She was easy to house train, great with our kids, and super sweet. However, she has a love for adventure that we have been unable to correct. We cleared our backyard and put up a fence which she quickly climbed over. We have hired dog walkers, tried daycare, provided cognitive toys, used a collar, etc with no improvement. Our fence is a shorter type, 4-rail so that made it easier to climb (we had not thought of that). As much as we hate to lose her, we have to accept that our full-time jobs and incompatible living/yard space is keeping her from enjoying her best life. We would love to see her with other dogs, a large fenced yard, and kids. She’s very social and incredibly sweet and smart.

Story
We adopted Sadie as a puppy from a local shelter. She is a very goofy, snuggly and playful dog. We adopted her because our dog, Lilly needed a friend :) We would prefer that the two stay together, but are taking applications for each individually as well. We ultimately want them to go to a really good home. Sadie absolutely loves being outside, rain or shine and especially snow! She has incontinence issues, but will wear a diaper inside. If you adopt her we will send the reusable diapers with her! She would do best with an environment where she can primarily be outside, but can come inside to be loved on. We will send her with her diapers, crate, leash, dog bed, and food and water bowl!
