Story
Lilo was rescued from living in a garage full time. She is a beautiful, precious snuggle bug. She loves pets, frolicking in sprinklers, and human interaction. I had Lilo for a few weeks upon getting her from the garage, but my rental house isn't set up for Lilo. She needs a fenced backyard, or somewhere she can get a lot of exercise. (I also work and am gone 12 hours a day for each work shift.) Lilo had been with a "foster" lady in Monroe while she tried to find her a home, but her dog became very jealous of Lilo, and was becoming aggressive towards Lilo. Lilo is around 14-15 month old. She is current on vaccines and heartworm medication. She is spayed and microchipped. Lilo urgently needs a loving home.

Story
Luna is an amazing 3-year-old terrier mix.She is spayed, completely housebroken, crate trained, and incredibly friendly and loving. She is amazing with children and gets along very well with both dogs and cats. She has no aggression or destructive behaviors and is generally a very easy dog. She loves being around people and would do especially well with a family or someone who is home often, as she gets lonely when she doesn’t have much companionship.Unfortunately, due to a change in my living situation, I’m no longer able to provide an appropriate space for her. Her biggest challenge is that she sheds despite high-quality food, regular grooming, and professional deshedding treatments. We’ve worked on managing it for several years, but it has become incompatible with our current medical issues. She has pet insurance that is very affordable and can be transferred to the new owner. She has 0 medical issues.

Story
I lost my husband 2 years ago and am now having to move out of my house. Sadly i have to rehome my dog. Biscuit is a sweet loving shepherd/hound dog mix. I originally adopted him from a humane society in NE GA as a puppy. They told me he was a corgi. I think that was incorrect. I have had him myself for 10 years. He weighs right around 100 pounds. He is lazy, sweet, loves attention, and he will talk to you until he gets his 10 pm treat! Hes good around other dogs. Likes to go on walks and could certainly use a diet!! He's just a big ol lover.

Story
Kitana is a sweet 3-year-old girl with a wonderful personality and moderate energy level. She's the perfect mix of adventurous and affectionate-she would happily join you on a hike or outdoor adventure, but she's just as content staying home and cuddling on the couch. Kitana is crate trained and fully potty trained, making her a great companion for someone looking for a well-mannered dog. She is loving, loyal, and ready to find a family who will give her the love and stability she deserves. Unfortunately, due to an upcoming move, my new landlord does not permit dogs, so I'm sadly unable to keep Kitana. This is an incredibly difficult decision, and my biggest priority is finding her a loving, responsible forever home where she will be cherished. Kitana has so much love to give and would make a wonderful addition to the right family.

Story
Stella is a pit mix (possible mix with a lab) that I desperately need to rehome. It's not what I want to do but there's been a lot of changes in the home and it's affected her greatly. She's home most of the day completely alone and it's made her become very destructive. We can't crate her when she's alone because she'll bark continuously and I don't want my neighbors to think she's being beat. We have tried different things but nothing seems to be correcting the behavior. I'm also starting a new job which will require some travel and I'll be an empty nester in a couple of weeks, which makes it even harder to be a good dog mom.I really believe she just needs a family where someone stays home with her all day and can keep her company. She is a good dog and great with everyone and other animals. I'm worried that one day she'll get into something that will hurt her. We have 2 cats and she's great with them and even my grandkids that range from 2-11 years old.

Story
Renita is looking for her forever home! From her rescuer: "I first noticed Renita last October, when she was on the euthanasia list. Even then, she was described as an affectionate dog. Thankfully, a foster stepped up and nearly a year later, Ms. Renita is still waiting for her forever family. There was just something about her that stayed with me. Maybe it was that adorable one ear that always seems to be standing at attention. Maybe it was her foster’s updates (you can find them on this page) and watching Renita blossom from a dog once labeled as needing to be an “only dog” into a girl who now loves playing with other dogs. Eventually, I knew I had to meet her myself. So I took the long drive with my daughter to go see Renita. And I melted. 🥹 Renita came running to greet us with her entire body wagging and I was absolutely delighted to see just how playful she was with the resident dog. This girl has so much personality and so much love to give. Now, after nearly a year in foster care, it is high time Renita gets seen. She deserves a family of her own. A little about Renita: 🐾 3 years old 🐾 65 pounds, low-rider 🐾 Completed heartworm treatment 🐾 Spayed 🐾 House trained 🐾 Crate trained 🐾 Dog-friendly and loves to play! As always, even the friendliest and easiest dogs need proper, slow introductions when meeting a new dog. 🐾 And most importantly… an irresistibly bubbly personality There is just something about Renita. She has this happy, goofy, affectionate spirit that makes you fall for her before you even realize it. Let’s get Renita seen. Let’s get her home."
