This is the most special little dog. She was living in a homeless camp in LA. She came staggering out to the street covered in fleas and filth. One of our humane workers picked her up. She is now feeling much better, clean, and eating nutritious food. We have named her Trixie May. She looks to be a Papillon - Pomeranian - Chihuahua mix. She is 10 years old. She loves to be held and gets so excited when we talk to her. Trixie May is a treasure.

Hi I'm Dorinda! nice to meet you! You might notice my hair loss. Yes-true story-it's missing. BUT it's coming back-slowly thanks to good medical care and good nutrition. I'm around 8 years old and weigh 8 lbs. I'm an itty bitty thing who is as sweet as they come. I am great with dogs and would be fine with a cat friend too. I could also fly solo wanna be besties? please note All of our dogs are in private foster homes. Once you fill out an application it will be screened by our volunteer adoption team. From there, if your application looks like a good fit for the particular dog, it will be sent to the foster where you can ask all the questions you would like and schedule a meet and greet. Rescued as a stray from a homeless camp. Her personality is a little hard to peg. She’s a go with a flow kind of dog who gets along with other dogs. She has a quiet nature and rarely barks. She’s low-key and low maintenance meaning she does not require a lot of attention. For additional information call Lydia at 714-357-8405. Nevertheless, only one applicant will be invited to meet a dog at a mutually agreeable appointment day, time & place. Usually Petsmart Yorba Linda or our Santa Ana location near South Coast Plaza. All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, full sets of core vaccinations (rabies and 1 set of distemper/parvo for adults, 4 for puppies) and deworming. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc.
