Story
Luna has been part of our family for six years and is about 8 years old. She is a great dog, house trained, loves walks, rarely barks or howls, frankly almost never. She is great with kids, as we have small children. Great with cats, we have two. She has been boarded before and has no issues being around other dogs. Her only negative tendency is she becomes protective if she is given a bone. Over the past couple of years our life has changed drastically however and we simply do not have the time to give her the quality of life she previously had with us. We've wrestled with the decision but are looking for someone who can dedicate more time to her, especially long walks. We are only willing to give Luna to a new owner if they will be able to offer her a better life. She has so much love to give and loves getting pets and going on long walks. Our available time is not what it used to be.

Story
Xena is a 3-year-old Plott Hound mix weighing 52 pounds. A delightful girl, she came to us from a family who didn't want her or her ten puppy litter. How sad! But of course that's where we came in. Xena's foster says she is sweet, affectionate, playful, great with other dogs and very food motivated. (Better keep a box of bones around the house!) This girl who has been treated for heartworm would make a great addition to your family! "You can read more about Xena's story here: https://www.crossingpathsanimalrescue.org/rescue-stories/mom-knows-best (posted 11/1/25, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **November 1, 2025, 11:58 am

Story
PA Kennel License #5254Wags Rescue & ReferralSouthampton Pa 18966 Available 11/16/2024 Originated fromAllmons All About Animals DL# 17277Blackshear GA 31516 Brindle beauty Zippy is a 50 lb 18 month old Plott Hound Mix who is looking for a family to love. While not a full low rider - shes more of a mid-rider - she is the perfect size to snuggle next to you for pets and wont take up much space on your couch. She loves to give kisses as much as she loves to receive butt skritches. Zippy is doing well with house training and being in the crate. Shes learning to walk on a leash, but as with all hounds, loves to follow her nose and sniff every area. She will try to pull a little, but is good about coming back close to you. Zippy loves all people and dogs she meets. She plays well with other dogs and enjoys a good game of tug and zoomies around the yard. Bones are also her favorite and will occupy her time. Unfortunately Zippy does not do well with cats so no feline homes for her. She does get a little mouthy when playing so supervision with the young ones is required. We are working on redirecting that energy. Zippy is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations, as well as on monthly preventatives. If you are looking for a super sweet mid-rider to join your family, Zippy is ready and willing to apply for the position.
