Story
Mindy's human passed away. She lived with a Border Collie and a Newfoundland who have been rehomed. We could not find her vet records. She is very sweet and benefits from daily walks and playtime. Mindy must go to a home with only women and no cats. We think she had a rough start in life because she is uncomfortable around men. She is very affectionate and responsive to her foster mom, but not her foster dad. She has a high prey drive so she is not good with cats. She is crate trained and walks well on a leash. She needs someone who can spend some time with her to continue her training. She is on the waiting list for the BerksARL, but if she is adopted from us, the only fee is to reimburse the listing fee.

Story
PA Kennel License #5254Wags Rescue & ReferralSouthampton Pa 18966 Available 11/16/2024 Originated fromAllmons All About Animals DL# 17277Blackshear GA 31516 Brindle beauty Zippy is a 50 lb 18 month old Plott Hound Mix who is looking for a family to love. While not a full low rider - shes more of a mid-rider - she is the perfect size to snuggle next to you for pets and wont take up much space on your couch. She loves to give kisses as much as she loves to receive butt skritches. Zippy is doing well with house training and being in the crate. Shes learning to walk on a leash, but as with all hounds, loves to follow her nose and sniff every area. She will try to pull a little, but is good about coming back close to you. Zippy loves all people and dogs she meets. She plays well with other dogs and enjoys a good game of tug and zoomies around the yard. Bones are also her favorite and will occupy her time. Unfortunately Zippy does not do well with cats so no feline homes for her. She does get a little mouthy when playing so supervision with the young ones is required. We are working on redirecting that energy. Zippy is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations, as well as on monthly preventatives. If you are looking for a super sweet mid-rider to join your family, Zippy is ready and willing to apply for the position. Story
Xena is a 3-year-old Plott Hound mix weighing 52 pounds. A delightful girl, she came to us from a family who didn't want her or her ten puppy litter. How sad! But of course that's where we came in. Xena's foster says she is sweet, affectionate, playful, great with other dogs and very food motivated. (Better keep a box of bones around the house!) This girl who has been treated for heartworm would make a great addition to your family! "You can read more about Xena's story here: https://www.crossingpathsanimalrescue.org/rescue-stories/mom-knows-best (posted 11/1/25, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **November 1, 2025, 11:58 am

Story
This precious soul named MEME found herself on her last day at a rural TN shelter several months back. A foster stepped up to save her life and the time has come for Meme to find her own family. The foster mom was diagnosed with a terminal illness and cannot physically take care of Meme now. We are in a race against time to find Meme a loving new home. Meme is approximately 3.5 years old, fully vetted and spayed. She is full of life and love and adores people of all ages. She has been around children and other dogs and has done fine in any pack so far. Meme would make a wonderful companion and family dog. She will need a yard to run in or someone who's active and can walk her multiple times daily. Please contact Julie asap if interested (text/call 919 624 0059)

Story
Meet Star! 🌟 Star is a 4-year-old Catahoula/Hound mix with a heart every bit as big as her personality. This girl has been through more than most dogs ever should - she was shot, and the bullet went through her jaw and ear. She underwent jaw surgery, and as a result, her tongue now hangs out permanently. But Star doesn’t let her past define her. She is pure resilience wrapped in sweetness. Star is incredibly affectionate and so happy-natured. She loves to run, explore, and play, but she also knows how to wind down and melt into you for snuggles - the perfect balance of fun and companionship. She does wonderfully with kids and gets along beautifully with other dogs, but would do best in a feline-free home as her instints may lead her to chase. She enjoys car rides and would make a wonderful adventure buddy for someone who wants a loyal co-pilot by their side. She’s very smart, already knows “sit,” and uses the doggie door like a total pro. Star is spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready to find the family who will love her for the amazing, one-of-a-kind girl she is. If you’re looking for a dog with a beautiful soul and an even more beautiful spirit, Star is your girl. 💛🐾 RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org.
